Nothing much to say on this one, though do think it came out well. We get Aurora and William's ages, but that's mostly just a little extra detail and nothing too necessary to know.

Yeah, sort of blanking on things to say, but hope everyone enjoys. Also might as well use this as an opportunity to plug Wright as Rayne and The Black Princess, both starting their sixth chapters this weekend.

This entire scene with Aurora and Agent McCay was Martin's suggestion. As mentioned, McCay will be an important character later and it meant a lot that we get a moment with him early on considering what we've got planned for him. Plus Aurora just looks so sweet here. ^^

The paintings mentioned in here are real works by Dali, of course. I'm sure practically everyone as seen Persistence Of Memory at some point or another. Aurora's other influence is a bit more unknown though. There really was a comic strip with an artist named McCay, and I've drawn lot of inspiration from it.

As long as we're on the subject of art, Aurora's line about how the artwork isn't any good until coloring is a reference to my own work.

Dr. Downes here is obviously a dead-ringer for The Medic from TF2. I started getting into the game around the time I drew this page, and since he's my favorite class I couldn't help but put him in. Martin even colored him as a member of Team BLU. How cool is that? ^^
