Heheh. Bit of confusing if you don't also read Wright As Rayne, but Grant and the protagonist of that comic e-mail each other. Came up way back in Wright As Rayne- http://wrightasrayne.thecomicseries.com/comics/78

I'll leave Martin to talk a bit more on how the e-mail was written, but did work out very nicely- Alex's advice plays into the next chapter.

Will leave Martin to discuss more of that, but in the meantime, yeah! Heather's dad! ^^ Thought it would be sorta neat for the shrinking violet to have a huge, awesome-looking dad with a really tough job. Hope you guys enjoy.

Yeah, this e-mail's supposed to be referring at least in part to WaR's second chapter, where Alex got roped into fighting another hero for a bit. Something that probably won't happen much outside of that but hey, every superhero comic has to have at least one showdown with another do-gooder, right?

Also tried to integrate it into plans for the next chapter a bit, yeah. That hadn't entirely come together just yet, but the basic premise was there so I tried to set that up.

To explain if it's not clear, how this was handled was Adam wrote the previous message from Grant first and asked if I could handle Alex's reply. Did so a bit later on when I got an idea for how to go about that, so there you have it. This is something that we'll probably do again, since it's a good way to bridge things a little bit and events in one story could have small effects on the other.
