Adam actually colored most of this one, in the interests of saving me some time since I've been really far behind on Blues coloring. I didn't quite make as much use out of that time as I could have, but as I type this I'm still at least a month past this page and it'll probably be more by the time this actually goes up.

So yeah, not a whole lot to say on this one, but I'm happy with it. Keep meaning to ask, what's everyone thinking of these more grayed word balloons that have been in use since the chapter started?

Later in this chapter, we're going to switch to the thinner lines that you see in Wright As Rayne. I originally liked using thicker lines on this comic since it gives it a more cartoony feel, but looking at this page I can see why the change is probably a good thing.

Main reason is that it makes the comics less of a hassle for Martin to clean up and color, but the difference in thickness between the first and second panels is pretty jarring to me. I can't do zoomed-out shots in thick lines, and a consistent width helps out a lot.

That said, I do like how Jenny seems to warm up to most everyone she meets, as seen with Shinobu here.

I like the moment between Jake and Spencer too. Their chemistry turned out to be... well, more on that as it develops. ^^

I think the world balloons are fine Martin. Spencer is clearly calling Mr.Mech and not the police, I do not think Spencer planned to go to the play at all, I just picture him as being like this "I am so crazy rich I came all the way to the US just to watch a fight between my hired cyborgs and the blue-bloods who foiled my hitmans attemp to kill Senator Howland"

Heheh. Nice. ^^ I was worried the fact that he was really calling Mech was a bit too subtle. Got the idea from Clue- "Why would the police be coming? Nobody's called them."

But yeah, about right. ^^ Still, enjoy the ride with Spencer. That's his point.
