I really need to find some faster way to color Blues pages. I've been hovering at around twenty sitting uncolored at a given time for a long while now - the pace will pick up once I get to where the lines thin out, but for the time being, it tends to take two or three days to finish the clean-up I've been doing lately on just one of them.

Not to say I'm displeased with the results, though. Had to do some last-minute touch-ups on this one, evidently a good few places I missed but there was some dialogue to correct, but eh. Not a whole lot to say story-wise here, but hey, our next fight scene starts. Been awhile since we've had one of those, probably around four months since the last one wrapped up. Unless you count all three comics in which case WaR is just coming off of one, but whatever.

Yeah, fight scene's been a while. ^^ Sad to say though, I kinda overdo it. One of the reasons this chapter winds up so long is that this fight scene really takes up a lot of pages. I enjoyed it quite a bit and sorta wound up going overboard with it. Though again, not the sole reason the chapter came out lengthy. We'll get to that when it comes to it.

Just hope you guys enjoy the ride. ^^ We'll get into each of the cyborgs and their powers as we go along, eh?

Any resemblance that enormous beam-cannon has to the Black Box weapon from TF2 is purely coincidental.

So, Val can't only blast lasers, but ABSORB them too?

Yeah, she's been able to do that for a while. ^^ Take another look at Mech's first appearance.

You are going to explain what Spencer has against blue-bloods at some point aren't you? Also if you still don't have a teamname for the kids I can tell the name I came up with for the team if you want to hear it?

Yeah, we'll get into that before the chapter's over, don't worry. ^^

Heheh... Definitely, lemme hear. ^^ I more-or-less abandoned thinking up a name since I couldn't come up with any I liked outside of the comic's title. I've been thinking about somehow getting them to hear the name and start calling themselves that, but nothing's set in stone at the moment.

I've been calling the kids the Peacekeepers cause that's what they're trying to do so I think it fits, how about you?

Heh... Might work. ^^ Definitely works for something call them, but think I'd want something more specifically referring to them for a name. I dunno, maybe something more gimmicky. Well, maybe that's a bad word for it....
Wolfintina 22nd Nov 2012, 1:14 AM edit delete reply
Considering how varied they are getting more specific would be hard, and trying to work in the blue blood angle resulted in names that sounded stupid, bad, lame, or really corny. The only name I could come up that sounds reasonable is Bluepeace and Blue-Blood Heros sounds more like a desscription than a teamname when you really think about.

I think Blue-Blood Heroes works both ways. ^^ But Bluepeace I'm pretty fond of. Worth considering.

I'm glad you like my ideas Adam and here is one more, if you do decide to go with Blue-Blood Heroes Detective McCay would probably be the best person to say the name while the kids are in earshot. Also Nimble says Val instead of Canon in that last panel, yeah Mech knows who they are but still.

Yeah, that's sorta my fault, but you could argue the kids still are getting into the habit of calling themselves by their codenames. ^^ But McCay is a CIA agent, not a detective. And as for what the Blue Blood Hero project is... well, we'll start to see the seeds of it in this chapter.
Wolfintina 24th Nov 2012, 12:00 AM edit delete reply
Oh right it was Agent McCay wasn't it, woops my bad there, but hey teamname and how they get it is your choice in the end I just wanted to offer my input in an area you said was a still a work in progress and I'm really glad you listened because out of all your work Adam(I really like checking out your DA pages) Blue-Blood Heroes is my absolute favorite, just like WaR and BP are my absolute favorites out of all of Martins work, so thank you.

Eheh... Thanks. ^^ We really appreciate the support, especially since Blues, WaR, and BP are the things me and Martin put the most time into.
