Merry Christmas folks. ^^ Hope ya have a good one.

In case you couldn't tell, this little number wasn't done by me. This was a Christmas gift Martin commissioned drawn by a mutual friend of ours. It's from way back, hence why Jake's hair is slightly different here. From back before the comic premiered, actually.

The guy who drew it's name is Jimmy. ^^ Guy still accepts and draws commissions, so if you're eager to get some done yourself, swing by his Deviantart Page and give him a shout-out-

Of course me and Martin do commissions too and could use the cash, so keep that in mind too, I guess.

But yeah, the picture. Jake and Grant are easily my favorites. Heck, that's probably the happiest Jake's ever looked. ^^ Yet he's still just grumpy-looking enough to letcha know it's him.

Merry Christmas, everybody. ^^

Yeah, this was drawn, like... Three years ago at least. Modified date on it's January 3rd, 2010 - that sounds about right, since I remember it being a little bit late.

So yeah, merry Christmas, everybody! When I commissioned this, I actually intended it to have them having to try to force the hat onto Jake's head, but certainly always been happy with the results. Probably sweeter this way.

Incidentally, original version of this Grant's tongue was blue. Kind of was torn on the idea, but it was a bit of a weird visual so we didn't roll with it. If you notice in the comic however, Blues have a more purplish tongue than those with red blood do so the idea's been used, just not quite as radically as it was there.

Strongly recommend commissioning Jimmy if you're looking for some art. Or us - what you get won't be as good, but it'll be cheaper. We've been meaning to post our rates for awhile now.

Y'know, I think when I had this drawn Lore still had her original name instead of having switched to that. Have we brought that up yet?

Wow, so... short. Are the younger ones that short currently? Also, Grant looks so naive here.

Heheh... Yeah, originally I was gonna make the height differences in the group much more extreme, especially for Lore. That got hard to keep consistent though, so they wound up balanced more or less out (Grant, Val and Jenny more or less have the same height, and so do Lore, Andy, and Nicky).
