I really like the expressions from Songbird and Putty on this page. In particular the second panel, where they look almost disappointed that their segment of the fight's been won, and the third where they're just confused.

Yeah, here's about where the fights go from occasionally spilling over into basically being one joint effort. Fun twist in its own right, and since the first fight with Mech we've tended to mostly see the team spread out instead of working together against just one or two targets. Easier way to write groups in a way that something comes off as an actual threat to them, I guess.

Internet situation at home picked a really good time to be resolved in regards to this page. I did this page a couple of weeks ago, but I forgot to bring it with the other files I took along to my mom's to send Adam's way. Would've probably had needed to make an emergency run back and forth between here and my mom's just for this otherwise.

Heheh... Yeah, I love that middle panel. "He just gave up. What now?" ^^ Likewise, I also like Grant and Nicky still working together in the last panel- Nicky sticks out his arms to trip Mech and Grant stomps on him from above to make sure it works.

The gag on Chiko-tan is that while he's very well-built and formidable, his programming is pretty crummy. Kinda based off ED-209 from Robocop that way- a cool-looking kill machine that's done in by its own design flaws.

That said, Chiko-tan's weapons are heavily based off my growing Team Fortress 2 obsession. Notice how he has the same three weapon slots you get in the game (Primary, secondary, and melee) and once those slots are eliminated he's helpless (The Humiliation). TF2 played a big part in the other cyborgs too, but I'll explain how in the next few pages.

Okay, boys, now that your enemy is "defeated", help the others. I suggest Val and Andy first; they're struggling the most. (also, wouldn't it have been a good idea to tail Chiko-tan to find his base?)

Yeah, Andy and Val would definitely be the best folks to pitch in with. ^^ But as for Chiko-tan, as you said the others need their help and that's a bit more pressing. ^^

True, but once this fight's over, someone should track the baddies back to their base. Though Stickset might wonder where the missing member is...

I wonder how Shinobu takes being insulted? and when she repairs Chiko-tan she should make sure he can fight hand to hand.

Yeah, probably be good to put that in. ^^ For now he has no data on how to fight that doesn't involve his weapon systems.

But in all fairness.... C'mon, who puts the trigger there?
