That is pretty solid reasoning - why shouldn't his hand shoot fire?

Really blanking on what to say on this one I'm afraid - sort of scatterbrained. Might amend these comments later, but for now, hope everyone enjoys!

Okay, few lessons in basic Japanese here- "Nee-San" is an abbreviated form of "Onee-San" and is a way of saying "Big sister." "Otouto" is a pretty straightforward way of saying "Little Brother." Also if you go back two pages, Kensuke refers to Spencer as "Leo-Ni-San" which more or less translate to "Big Brother Leo."

Yeah, Shinobu is Kensuke's sister, if it wasn't apparent already. Again, see Kensuke being pretty young, possibly just out of high school if not still there and thought it'd be a nice touch after I came up with Shinobu to give her a kid brother to fuss over.

Screw Spencer's reasoning- I'm one of those people who doesn't have fantasies about murdering people. Payback, but always within the law and never going on killing sprees. A lot of shows I've seen that are basically wish fulfillment to that aspect (Falling Down, for instance) just leave me annoyed and confused.

I wasn't entirely comfortable with the expression Spencer has in Panel 2, since it's a pretty weird-feeling departure from how smarmy and smug he normally looks. But guess we did have to establish that his feelings for Shinobu aren't an act, just looks odd.

Are we going to hear how these injuries happened, Kensuke got his hand cut off, Autumn lost her legs and Mech lost his eyes, how does stuff like that happen?

Heheh... Probably not, no. ^^ We might hear about Kensuke losing his hand since I sorta think I know how that one happened, but probably not on Autumn and Mech.

I could totally see Kensuke and Shinobu as siblings. Also, "nee-san" has an extra "e".

Huh... Checked Google and turns out you're right. Weird, could've sworn I'd seen it as "Ne-san" plenty of times. Ah, well, fixed now.
