Yeah, sorta snuck up on us, this did, but here it is! ^^ Happy third year.

I've really been very proud and happy of this comic as I've worked on it. It's not much, but it gives me a pretty big sense of satisfaction, and is something I can put a lot of creativity into and see released. I'm just glad there are folks here to experience it with me. ^^ Same for all the comics, really. Thank you all.

So yeah, some teasers for the next few storylines... dunno how much to say, but hope you guys enjoy. ^^ In particular wanna thank Martin for supporting me and sticking with me, and more immediately for the rush job on this page.

Heh. Couldn't have done all the work I've done without ya, Adam, and you'll always have my support.

It's kind of crazy to think about how long Blues has been around when you compare it to when it was originally going to start - dunno if we've mentioned this on the Blues end of things before but it's come up on WaR, that we weren't originally going to start until after The Power Tower wrapped up, which if things worked out the same otherwise would have put this comic only debuting in December. Just an odd thing to note.

While I'm feeling kind of reflective, it is sort of funny just how much Blues has sprung from. In the case of WaR, I'd planned out a lot of it years before already and there was already one short run of about half of the first chapter a few years ago with a different artist before that kind of collapsed in on itself, while with BP it's a much more recent creation comparitively speaking but at least already had roots in what was going on with WaR, and Sareena and Misty had already been conceived and worked out to a degree for it.

With Blues, though, I remember when Adam first pitched it to me it was pretty much just the main six's names, a description of their powers and some backstory / personality details, and the basic premise. I've pretty much been on board with it every step of the way there in listening to Adam's ideas, helping him filter them out, throwing out plenty of my own... Kind of nice seeing it grow between the two of us for so long, y'know? And it's going to keep doing so, so stick around.

Awww. ^^

Heh.... To show how little it sprang from even more... The comic started out an idea that kept poking around my head I think I got sleeping at my uncle's house. Originally there were just four of them- Andy and Nicky were basically the same character and there was no Jenny. Martin's input did definitely shape the comic into what it is now, all of it for the best, I'd say. ^^

Wow, this is amazing! Glad to see that Martina is coming back, as well as Spencer, but who is that man Lore and Andy are consoling? Why is there snow in summer? And who is the mysterious Father Salix? Can't wait to start finding out on Wednesday.

I think the man in the bathrobe is Agent McKay, and don't if I've said this before but Adam, Martin, you guys have always got a fan in me. Oh and in answer to why it's snowing in summer have you forgotten that Martina can control the weather.

Thanks for the clarification. And I'm with Wolfintina: I'm a major fan of Blue Blood Heroes. Though the Salix question was never answered...

Heheh... Thanks, guys. ^^ I really do appreciate the support on this.

But yeah, that is McKay and the reason Martina is standing in the snow. As for Salix.... Sorta sorry to say this, but he's mentioned a fair way into this chapter and once you find out what he does, his relationship with Spencer should be easy to deduce. ^^
