Looks like we might have some new variety of villain on the horizon. Not sure when Adam plans to pay this one off, though imagine it's going to be awhile given some current plans; all the same, it's pretty relevant to the proceedings here.

I went darker and more monotone with the shading here than usual, mostly admittedly in the interest of saving sometime. I do like the look though, kind of gives things this dramatic sort of feel. We'll be seeing it in the next page and to a lesser degree in the one after it, so safe to say this scene will last for a little bit.

Not a whole lot else to say on this one offhand. Guessing given what we're told about this group some folks are already connecting the dots involving the year three preview; we'll be cementing that connection shortly.

Like I said, it's not hard to figure out the year 3 preview's relation to this. Though still have a surprise or two planned related to that.

But yeah, where to start on this... Mostly this scene is here to establish a few things on McCay, namely with how his powers work. The additional villain thing is mostly incidental, but I do try and come up with villain ideas when I can. I'm VERY picky about who makes the final cut into the comic and who doesn't. Eco-Terrorism is a good venue to explore, but we'll have to see how things turn out down the road.

I do hope I got the introduction to the group alright, though. "Leave only footprints" enforced with extreme prejudice. I'm kind of a Greek mythology nerd, so enjoyed doing the reference with the name too. And while I'm fairly certain I'm write in Persephone and Hades not cranking out any demi-Gods, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

"Forrest" is slightly based off Stephen Segal, though my attempt to draw him in a way that resembled him didn't come out all that good. I'm pretty bad at that.... For those not in the know, one of Segal's more infamous roles had him playing an eco-terrorist named Forrest in the film "On Deadly Ground." Infamous in that the movie wrecked his career.

Was very pleased with the coloring when I got this one back. Turned out excellent. ^^ We also see here that McCay is not above peeking into minds to see if their intentions are pure.

I was wondering why Mother Earth was written on the wall of the Year 3 Preview and it will be interesting to see what McCay can do.

I hope you'll be pleased. And yeah, not hard to see.
