Heheh... Yeah, been sitting on this one for a little while waiting to submit it. Bit of guest-artwork from the lovely, lovely Abe. ^^ Miss the guy's artwork something terrible, but he's got a lot of real-world responsibilities that cut into his drawing time. All the same, he sent me this little diddy a while ago.

Now, the Rebus is apparently a wizard-only magazine for people like The Black Family in BP... That said, also sure this is out of continuity, since Grant and the other Blues kids aren't publically known as super-heroes (somehow). Though I guess I could plausibly see it being reported in an underground Wizard paper... Hell, maybe Sareena and Misty know who they are because they read this, but still don't think it's happening.

Either way, love that Abe took the time to do this since he's so busy. Actually sorta wanna get his comments on this. Lemme send him a note in a sec.... He has another picture going up Saturday, of someone more likely to show up in a paper like this...

Not a whole lot to say here but yeah, think Abe did a good job with this. This has been sitting for a good while.

Y'know, now I found myself wondering how other names of ours would sound with a, "The." The Starchild. The Rage. The Power. The Trace. The Cannon. The Putty. Some of these sound better than others.

Hmmm.... The Living Weapon would sound good.... Oddly enough, the next villain in Blues has a "The" in his bad-guy name...

Though let's face it; we all know which of these names would work best. The Jake.

The reason they aren't publically known as super-heroes is because they're too young, speaking of which why did you make 16 the minimum age for vigilantism in this universe Martin?

Partially due to the needs of the story, partially because that was around the age Miss Mania and Bell were in starting and it was mostly legalized to accommodate them and to a degree to figure out who they were.

For some reason, if the Blue Bloods were to ever go back in time, I would expect Grant to fit in the most. Also, this gives me the idea that Grant possibly could be from a different time period. Thoughts?

Heheh... How far back in time you thinking here? We talking Civil War or Knights on a steed? ^^

I suppose the Roarin' Twenties. This advertisement looks like sommething out of Bioshock: Infinite to me.

Heheh... I dunno, all that organized crime... Though that would give Songbird a lot of criminals to beat up... Plus he'd look spiffy in the fedora and suit.

My understanding of the roaring twenties is that every single male was required to wear a suit and fedora; ten-year-olds included.
