So I guess this mean's Martina's a witch then? Doesn't it?

Yeah, it's weird to think how long it's been since we've seen Martina in the comic, isn't it? Still, she is coming back in the future, and I was very happy to see this picture from Abe of her. Her look was pretty much right up his alley, and she fit the magazine perfectly. I totally wanna give Franklin a broadsword now.

This does naturally fit the idea of a witch-based magazine.... Though given that the sorcery community over in Black Princess is concealed itself I wonder how.... Wait, have they concealed themselves. I'm just realizing typing this; I figured they followed Harry Potter rules but... Laura does seem pretty casual about finding out magic exists. Plus there's a scene where they read a list of reports made about supernatural occurrences.... Yeah, maybe magic is an accepted thing in this universe. I'll have to ask Martin when he wakes up.

Anyway, yeah.... What is the Church Of Sklerossi? Well, hope to get into it more the next chapter. ^^

The general rule on that is that magic is more or less open knowledge to a degree, though widely it kind of blends together with all of the people who have powers, but given its nature and just how many different things there are lurking in the night people involved in the magical world mostly just keep to their own inner circle and they try to keep people from showing off too much or drawing too much attention to it. Sort of a case of trying to keep down any friction that might lead to an X-Men-ish public rebellion, which is also to a degree done with those with outright powers thus why they went to rein in Ozias when he was just using his powers openly and blatantly to commit crimes.

Actually, funny thing about Martina in connection with BP. She originally had some unusual traits that Adam will probably go into down the line, and as a result she had the alias Innards. There was a line very early in BP that said something like, "your innards boil," when talking about the desert heat; that was basically said in large part to reuse it as the title for a chapter where she'd show up in BP. She might still put in an appearance at some point down the line and she's been referenced in it a time or two, but yeah, that title would mean nothing now. Just thought that bared mentioning, kind of interesting.

But yeah, Martina should be fun to see again, though I do hope she tones her outfit down a little bit. I could see it taking forever what with how much more obsessive I've become with the clean-up. Though then again, we were looking at simplifying the process so maybe we'll have done that by then.

Anyway, hope everyone enjoys! We have one last bit of filler on Wednesday then we're on to the next chapter.

Is that Canis Major Martina is summoning? and it will be interesting to see what will happen when these two show up again and I wonder if Grant will be saying "I told you so" to his teammates cause he did say they'd be back.

Yeah, that'd be Canis Major. ^^ But I don't quite think he'll need to throw it in their faces... Usually "I toldja so" is reserved for people who don't believe or ignore you.

"The Church of Sklerossi" obviously is either the fan-given name or the real name of the Cult.

Real name. Read the backlogs to make sure and found it.

Heheh... Meant more what they believe in and what they want. Will be exploring that more later. ^^
