So, this marks my own first go with Manga Studio! I've gotten a bit better with it since this one, have been getting more familiarized with Manga Studio, but still pretty happy with this first outing.

Not sure what all to say here outside of that. I think I might have miscolored that one waitress, I think in retrospect that that was intended to be the Diana waitress instead of the Eiko one, but the hairstyles are depicted here aren't all that dissimilar so it doesn't make that much of a difference.

Not a whole lot else to say here really. I need to do some more pages later tonight; one thing that isn't so convenient about Manga Studio is that until I learn how to handle it myself I need Adam to handle the prep work for the pages, so I can only color as he gets that done. Still, hopefully I'll be able to knock out another couple of pages tonight, pull further ahead. WaR and BP are currently caught up, now I just need to start making more of a dent on the Blues backlog.

When I took a Bio-Psych class, I paid extra attention to the psychological effects of sleep deprivation just so I could write this chapter. I think we were still fighting Ferguza or thereabouts when I was in that class though, so sorta wanna go back and refresh myself. Pity I sold back my book and at the campus bookstore people will bark at you to pay if you read the textbooks too long. Because charging over a hundred dollars for a book that cost ten bucks to print wasn't enough of a racket.

One bit of information that was particularly interesting was that as you stop sleeping, you begin to hallucinate, but in an odd manner. The hallucinations start in your peripheral vision and the longer you go without sleep, the closer and closer they get to the center. That one guy I mentioned who was up for eleven days? The hallucinations were tiny space-ships. Not making this up.

I think McCay's new artificial blue gene is helping him with some of he more dangerous effects Dr. Downes is mentioning, but we'll get more into that down the line. Speaking of Dr. Downes, it looks like he got auto-balanced onto the other team. Hate when that happens. ^^

But yeah, one more step on the road McCay's on.... Hope you'll enjoy, we get to see more of both it and the kids next week. ^^

Well McCay's got the world record beat by ten days since three weeks is 21 days, and his hallucinations seem to be moving forward, I can't wait to see how McCay meets the kids.

I'm actually a bit afraid about him meeting the kids, judging by the cover of this one.

Well, keep in mind the Covers never really happen; it's usually just a tantalizing image.

I honestly can't tell if those are in fact hallucinations or merely his powers giving physical forms to abstracted concepts of thoughts. If they are hallucinations though, I blame the pills more than lack of sleep.
