I think this is where the chapter really takes off - get some nice visuals here, and things start kind of mingling together a bit more. As you can see, by the time I did this page I was a little more used to working with Manga Studio; have been making some progress since, like I've been playing around with some of the features and doing clean-up here and there, but this is where it starts.

In case anyone who reads WaR is wondering from yesterday's comments, my Internet issues aren't quite resolved yet. Still, I have a temporary workaround in place, and it's at least enough for me to get some work done and to submit the comics. Like getting to see Lore's ponies together in one place, always fun.

Not sure what all else to say here though; most anything there is to comment on is best served once it becomes a bit more clear what's going on. Still, I hope everyone enjoys, and be sure to swing by Wednesday for more!

Heheh... Sorry to get your hopes up, he's not meeting the Blues kids just yet. But we are seeing both of 'em.

I almost re-did this one because we're seeing one detail that we're not supposed to look at until later. More on that when it comes up; get to it later this chapter.

Problem with McCay's pages is that they're a lot of fun to do but don't leave me with much to talk about. If it's not obvious, this isn't happening over the course of several nights; he's in the bar thinking back on all these events. Said events are gonna get closer and closer 'til we get to the present.

The ceiling tile thing is something I legitimately wonder when I'm in bed, though oddly it seems to have stopped since I learned to sleep on my back. It's not just how many there are; how do you factor in the ones that were cut to fit the shape of the room?

Also, Wuvmuffums is used as a pillow.

I'd been wondering how the boosted IQ and such had been affecting McCay since he's already an adult, and this page is kind of confusing.

Heheh.. That's a critique I'm not sure how to respond to... Basically narration is McCay's thoughts on that night in the flashback, overlayed over what the Blues kids are doing now. ^^
