Gaaaah scatterbrained and gotta put this up before I go get lunch... Okay, lemme see what I got....

Heh... This page required two last-minute changes. One just after it was colored, I made a quick change to the dialog so it could be echoed at the end of the chapter. One just now in looking it over; there was one line in the penultimate panel we missed in coloring. Funny, that.

We hear some more about the neural-blockers the scientists are employing here, but further we find out some oddities about how McCay is coping with his insomnia. Basically, plans for the guy depend on him being able to concentrate, and so I kinda threw together tones on his intelligence boost from the Blue Gene giving him some slight immunity to the certain effects of sleep deprivation.

And just after I type that, had to fix the page again since there was a typo in one panel. Heh. I must've been in a rush to finish this page, I guess.

Huh. Dennis's changes between the first and last panels. Funny, that. I probably tried to draw the actor from memory in one panel and got a reference for him for the other.

I seem to remember running into some sort of issue coloring this one, but I forget what it was. Regardless, I'm happy with this one, though I'm not sure how much I have to say about it.

Let's see... Yeah, mostly coming up blank here I'm afraid. Maybe I've been told to forget what I have to say on this one, who knows. Pretty scatterbrained, it's been kind of a weird night.

Anyway, hope everyone enjoys!

Did McCay just erase that scientists memory of what he said? and is that extra in the first and last panel based on an actor?

Yeah, the bartender is half-based on Dennis from Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Basically the first page of this chapter was in a bar so I just came up with ideas for people in shows and movies you'd seen in bars, hence why there are waitresses there who resemble Eiko from Squid Girl and Diane from Cheers. Just sorta passing thoughts I do when doing extras.
