Ughhhh... I just typed up this whole, long and meaningful speech about the "Insomniac" name but realized it'd be better served later in the chapter. Great. What's there to talk about without that.

It kinda bugs me the way McCay's eyebrows act in the third panel. Those coming over the glasses (or in the kids cases, having absurdly expressive masks) pop up a lot in the comic, but does it too much in that one....

When I'm really, really tired, I do often seriously fear spontaneously falling asleep in the middle of something. Main reason is that I fell asleep standing up once, right in the middle of texting Martin, and I keep wondering to myself "What if I'd hit my head on the way down?"

I've done my fair share of falling asleep at inopportune times myself, though usually it comes from lying down while I'm not doing much, the lights and TV on, and just kind of getting too comfortable. I'm aware that I should stop doing this but when tired and eager to get some sort of rest it's easy to decide to chance it. Particularly since it doesn't always happen.

Let's see, what else to talk about on this page then. . . I like how giddy Genight looks in the second panel. He just looks so happy. Guess given his thought and his reactions in the other panels, he's trying to come off as enthusiastic and overdoing it.

Also, my thought on the trademarked name in the first panel - Mento is the freshmaker.

It's worth nothing that the comic-book Mento avoids the weirdness of sharing his name with a popular candy because he's the leader of the Doom Patrol, a team so totally insane that their leader could be an actual, inanimate roll of Mentos and go on like nothing was wrong.

Poor McCay he doesn't seem to know what to do with himself anymore and are these all flashbacks of things that have happened during the three weeks he's been awake?

Yeah, that's the entire idea for this chapter. ^^ He's remembering everything while sitting in the bar.
