I've started doing some advertising for the comic through Project Wonderful. I've been sitting on a pile of money that I've collected via commissions and that's just been sitting in my Paypal account; the initial idea with the lot was to use it to buy a Wii-U.

But the more I thought about it... Really, I spend more time drawing this comic than I do playing video games. I think more about it in my idle hours than getting my next TF2 hat or next model in Lego Star Wars. In the end, it means more to me that this comic is a success than even getting the next Smash Brothers. For now, I think this is a more meaningful use of the money for me, since getting love and feedback for the comics is something that really helps me when things are bad.

It hasn't been too successful yet; trying to figure out what sites get me bang for my buck, but our traffic is seeing a few minor blips that I think might be new readers archive-binging. So here's hoping for the future.

I need to put together a banner for Wright As Rayne too; plan to advertise it down the line as well. After a bit need to ask Martin if he has any sort of layout or design he'd prefer for it.

Oh! Right, this page... Yeah, main idea for this was to show that McCay is a physical threat as well as a mental one. He can't be rendered unconscious and he's a trained CIA agent with considerable combat skills. I really liked the fluid motion that came out of this; you can see how it flows from one panel to the next.

Also, McCay having his eyes closed while fighting probably means he's using his telepathy to gain awareness of what his enemy's next move is going to be, rather than his own senses. As for Lore's lines in the first panel... Well, you guys can probably guess. ^^

251st page! I guess you can consider it the special Celebi edition given it's about a psychic.

I'll probably getting a Wii U next month myself, though my main priority is WrestleMania tickets. Not so much for the show itself, that's still a ways off, but more because of where it's taking place. I'll probably get more into that when it comes a little closer but Adam and I've discussed it a good bit so that should tell ya something.

Anyway, this page! I was very glad to see the robe ditched, since it added a good bit to the time spent on coloring McCay. Probably would do so much less now that I've changed how I get the colors, but still, at the time.

McCay majorly messed with Lore's head and what does he mean when he said he pumped himself full of electricity?

Yeah, I kinda meant to talk about that in the chapter. I think somewhere offscreen, McCay started doing crazy stuff to induce unconsciousness, like downing crazy amounts of tranquilizers and exposing himself to electricity.
