This was an image I'd, again, had planned since nearly day one of the comic for use against McCay. Jenny using her speed to rapid-fire-fisticuff someone was the whole reason I gave her those gauntlet-like-things in his costume.... Though naturally, first time she does it she's not wearing the costume so....

Yeah, Jenny was about due for a pretty awesome moment.... Though the second panel... Looking at it again makes you realize how much that probably really hurt. It's not real yeah, but it probably felt real.

Crossbows were surprisingly fun to draw at least. Less-so were Nicky's arms. Doing the spiral thing was way, way harder than it looks.

Think the somewhat accidental, eventually on purpose thing of how often Jenny goes around hugging people helps to back this up a good bit; sort of helps to serve as a nice little contrast, and to play up a bit more just how much she does value her friends. Incidentally, for those wondering there is still a hug coming in this chapter.

Actually, we're really almost done at this point. A few more pages to go, but this is winding down. Guess then we should figure out what we're doing for the next chapter's cover; we have most of the next chapter drawn already, but we haven't come up with anything we're really sticking by for that just yet.

I'm blanking on just what else to say on the page, though. Pretty happy with both of our ends of the work on it for what it's worth, but think that Jenny thing is the most really jumping out at me to talk about. In either case, be sure to keep reading!

Oh, right!

Be sure to swing by tomorrow. We're going to try and at some point in the day put up a Halloween-themed bonus pic.

Super strong seem to have super tough skin that when most people try to hit them they're the only ones who get hurt, super strength always seems to include super strong defense, and this certainly shows that Jenny is way tougher than she appears.

Yeah, super-durability, when you think about it, is sorta a requirement for super-strength. Lore can probably pick up a car, but without durability, doing that would crush her as soon as she tried it.
