I've been watching the traffic for this comic since the Project Wonderful advertisement very carefully, so I know we've got plenty of new readers by now. Drop a comment, eh folks? Just to let me know you're there and I'm not hallucinating.

If you're wondering where this falls in continuity.... Yeah, no idea. I guess the Blues kids have offscreen adventures from time-to-time, since this isn't able to fit for anything we've seen thus far. Before you get on my back about it... Martin wrote the script for this page. Go bother him.

Does contain a few things Martin has been suggesting I push in the comic, but will let him get to it. For me, I keep wanting to expand on certain areas in the school, or make recognizable spots for the kids to hang out, so sorta half-tried that with this little location but isn't really unique enough. Will need to see.

Is always good to see Lenore again, as well as a few of the other growing-familiar faces in the comic. Kinda settled that the redhead is named Ruby, and her blonde friend got stuck with the name Alex. Gwen, meanwhile, is a character Martin pushed on who'll probably show up from time-to-time now herself.

I do like doing the extras in this comic, though am a little weirded out they're mostly girls, it seems like. Eh, might just be imagining it. Are still Guy, the Pit-looking kid, the devil-boy, probably gonna bring that Sonic kid in again sometime in the future.

Chapter after next, number 10, is basically set up to overflow with cameos like that, so will need to keep that in mind.

A canon explanation, um... This happens between Darker Blue and Blues in the Night, and the group's actually slipped off to go do some practicing. There.

But yeah, this was mostly just kind of a concept I thought would suit the comic for awhile and I decided to write up, then Adam decided to use it for a between chapter filler. Really should see if he wants to handle the next between-chapters WaR one or something, though then again, I just kind of wrote this one and the last one of my own accord and he decided to use him, not like I specifically asked for the position or anything. Still, the point of the matter.

God, I screwed up the colors on Luna there. Not sure what happened but she looks so greyed out and dreary, like she's covered in dirt or something. I'll make sure she's been run through the washer by the next time we see her, don't worry. Related on the colors thing - funny thing, Adam prepped Vincent's outline thing, but then I had to go through and partially undo part of it since it didn't really make much sense for his clothes to look quite as icy as he does. Wasn't that much of a hassle to do and it still saved me time over the alternative, so eh.

As for that girl, Guinevere... Yeah, essentially the thing with her is that I put in a throwaway reference to a ghost girl in a story I wrote for Adam once. He liked the idea but we never did much with it, then when I was writing this page I figured she'd make for a nice out for Heather to leave on given the nature of her powers laid out in that. We'll probably get a proper explanation of what she's talking about here and who she is down the line, she will show up in the story proper soon enough.

Think that's about all I have to say on that for now. I tried to have this mostly stick to more established regulars around the place, though Adam forgot in listing boy extras the kid who looks like Karasuma from School Rumble and some other random ones we've seen wandering around.

Incidentally, if you like this page and the previous filler I did, maybe you should take a look at the comics I write that Adam also draws, Wright as Rayne and The Black Princess, or one drawn and created by someone else, Second Chances. Links here -

Fixed a typo in the fourth panel. Also, the effect on Guin's speech bubble.... Found the effect possible in Manga Studio and was basically looking for an excuse to use it. ^^ Guin's appearance took cues from Lady Bow.

So is Alex's power weather control? and is it just a coincidence that ghost girl has the same name as that creepy BP vampire.

Actually, I just screwed up and typed the wrong name - ghost girl's name is Guinevere.
