I think what with being angry and having hair, that makes Jake more their, I don't know... Maxwell Lord, minus the stupid villain retcon garbage? I'm not sure. Let's say he's their Cynthia Hearst. If you don't know who that is, go read The Black Princess!

Anyway, not sure what all to say here, though I'm pretty happy with it. We've been kind of having a bit of an interruption in working on pages lately, but we've done a BP page today and have a WaR page in progress so things are picking up now. Those two do need to get kind of caught up though, somehow they have a lot less of a buffer than Blues does. I think it's where we tend to do a Blues-BP-Blues-WaR schedule of drawing them but WaR and BP update an extra time each month we're not accounting for.

Anyway, yeah. Totally off topic, particularly given Blues has pages done into the next chapter at this point, but not sure how much I have to say on Blues itself. If nothing else, be sure to swing by on Wednesday - we'll be learning Heather's powers.

Heh. Again, this all probably sounds really deplorable/bizarre to get dumped on you all at once. Hell, sometimes I'm afraid the premise of this comic alone will be enough to scare off potential readers. Though readership's shot up recently, so maybe not. Either way, it's encouraging. Maybe by the time I go to a Con or two this summer I'll have people waiting to meet me. ^^

Not really that much to say on this page myself, though. It, again, really speaks for itself. It's mostly just set-up for the rest of the conversation, which picks up into cooler stuff on Wednesday.

Anyway, with finals over, I gotta get into drawing again. Gotta try and finish that WaR page Martin mentioned before Ponies.

.... Huh. That rabbit statue/toy/plush Jenny has on her desk came out looking sorta evil, didn't it? Weird.

I hope Heather doesn't think badly of Jake because of this, since he truly does care about the kids(way more then he's willing to admit), and I guess Lucky Orihime isn't the only rabbit Jenny has, and Jenny's Stargirl poster is simple and plain compared to the one's Rin has of her.

Eheh.... Yeah, Jenny's post I knew we'd see more of so made it easier to draw. Plus it's meant to be a mirror of Grant's poster of Alex.

Don't you know that most superheroes sound bad when put into a certain light, come on Lore. It's like when batman gets yelled at for crushing cars or superman for blowing holes in the side of buildings sure they are protecting and helping people. But they still cause damage, heck I could say batman is just a boy with parent problems, but i won't because that is just mean.

Heh. Decent point. Though granted, Superman did push the building-destruction thing a bit too far in the last movie. ^^

That's one interpretation of Batman, though I personally subscribed to the belief that his crusade isn't about revenge or working out his issues but making sure his own tragedy wasn't repeated on anyone else. While there's a tragic aspect to him, any issues he has are more about injustice rather than personal pain. Though granted, there are a ton of different ways to read the character.
