Merry Christmas, folks. ^^ Hopefully you'll all have a good one; we wish everyone the best time in the world.

Sorry about the interruption in the story, but just sorta felt like doing something special since we were updating on the day and all.... I got a quick idea for a picture and cranked it out over the weekend. ^^

Jeez, really, all the Santa hats really made you realize how Santa-Ish Jake's jacket is. I guess it didn't sink in for the last picture since Jake was wearing his janitor's coat but wow. ^^ Too bad I didn't do anything with that. As-is, joke with him is sorta lost; he's just annoyed that he'll need to sweep up pine needles. Always a pain; why we use a fake tree in this house.

Hm... I was about to say how I don't even like Blue Christmas all that much, but on further reflection, it's not a bad song. I'm not that big of an Elvis guy, but I do like his slower ballad-type numbers and that was a good one.

..... Huh. Have we brought up yet that Lore is Jewish? Can't recall if we mentioned it last year or not.

In any case, Peace On Earth, goodwill toward men. ^^ Lots of love, to all you folks out there reading.

Heh. Yeah, we hope everyone has a good Christmas, whether they celebrate the holiday itself or not. And as always we'd like to express our appreciation to everyone who reads Blues or our other comics - it means a lot guys.

But yeah, Jake's coat does look pretty Santa-ish. I tend to make the white a bit more grey to try and distract from that a little, but I decided not to go that route here, and generally it looks a bit better lighter I think so might keep with that moving forward. Speaking of, went with all-new colors for the group's main outfits, since the palette was recently tweaked anyway, so this is probably about the shade we'll be seeing on those whenever they wear them moving forward.

In either case, hope everyone enjoys this, and be sure to swing by on Saturday for the next page of the story!

In the comic itself, Lore being Jewish has never come up, but in a christmas story I read on Martin's DA page Jake did mention that and this page is just adorable.
