Yep, turns out we're not quite finished with this Blue Blood Hero stuff after all. Who'd have guessed what with it being the title?

Heh, granted, originally that program was known as Violet Bleed and Adam changed it very last minute (as in, like directly before the page saying that went up), but still. Kind of had to imagine it was going to come back into play soon enough.

Still, while this page and the next one do set up some more developments on that front, those won't really be the focus right away. The next chapter at least to the point Adam's written it (which is pretty far in) hasn't touched on it, and the one after that might be a little busy for it. Still, it's going somewhere, we promise.

The chapter ends on Wednesday, so keep an eye out for that. Afterward, we'll have at least one bit of between-chapter filler - possibly two since we've thrown around an idea for something else - then we'll start chapter ten, Icy Blue.

Oh, right... Will admit, when I said I wanted the chapter to be over, forgot about this scene. And yet somehow, the first panel is my favorite one in this page.

I really need to stop putting the Jenny hugs at the end of the chapter. It's getting very obvious that I'm mostly doing it like that because I keep forgetting about them until we're nearly finished. Actually, we're like fifteen pages into Icy Blue and we're still one hug short. Need to get to that soon, I think. Know where to do it too.....

Also do feel bad about Nicky and Jenny being MIA through most of this. Especially after the same thing happened to Jake in the last chapter. Eh, group gets plenty of screentime in the next one, so there's that.

But yeah, Zodiac and Genight.... I kinda really worried for a bit about what explanation Genight would feed him about what happened to McCay.... I wanna say Martin came up with this one. Plus enjoyed getting to see Zodiac's wife and grandson. Incidentally, Genight's face was pretty busy between the glasses and facial hair. I knew he'd get cut up by McCay, so figured it'd make a good excuse to shave off the latter. Sometimes when your face is seriously cut, you need to get shaved so the doctor can apply stitches.

I wonder what Zodiac's going to think when he finds out McCay's gone MIA and if ever figures out Genight lied, hopefully this at least means there won't be anymore artificial blue-bloods.

Heheh.... Hopefully. ^^ Like I said, struggled to come up with a convincing lie to tell Zodiac. Would've been really easy if I'd made him a General Ripper-Type figure instead of a reasonable one. Though am continuing the gimmick with the name, so...

Great to see Genight again. "Icy Blue", hmm? Does this next chapter involve our favorite frozen roommate?

Heheh... He's in a pretty big segment, though not quite the focus. Do hope you'll be pleased with it. ^^
