Not sure how much I have to say on this one, if only because at the moment I feel really, really tired. I've had kind of a long day, though at least I made some money out of it.

Anyway, what all to comment on here... Well, offhand, there is the bit where we hear within the story pages themselves where Jenny's from. There is that. Also we're already getting some extras sightings - we'll see a lot more as the chapter goes.

The fallout Andy's talking about will cover most of the chapter - sort of leading to a big set piece that hopefully everyone will enjoy. As a result of that Lenore and Jenny are mostly out of the way from here on out but the others get some good screentime in it at least. And Jenny does become important again before the end of the chapter, so she's not out of the way the whole time like the last one.

As for the detail about Nicky hating the cold... That's going somewhere.

Ehhhh.... Not really. I thought it'd play a bigger role than it wound up doing. Still, working to expand Nicky's character a bit and that helps. More stuff in mind for the future.

Really had fun with this page and was the kind of thing I'd wanted to do from page one of this chapter. In particular like the small detail of Jake and the other janitors using digging spades to shovel snow; just a mental image I'd had for a while.

Especially loved doing all the winter outfits for all the kids and trying to figure out how they'd dress in the snow. Lore's bow had was fun but out of the ones we see here like Jenny and Lenore the best. Love getting to play around with Jenny's hair.

Andy's jacket.... I looked around the internet for video-game-related jackets to put him in and found one that looked like Mega Man so what I shot for. Didn't turn out too good, came out a bit too purply. Maybe he's using a Master Weapon. Huge Mega Man fan, by the way. Went nuts when he got announced for Smash Brothers.

But yeah, thing that Andy's talking about I actually had to work to keep from dominating this chapter. Think it'll be a few more pages before it's gotten to, though.

Weirdly, Martin's told me that he's gotten the impression from how she's drawn that Lenore is the youngest person in the school. Not sure if that's true or not, certainly can understand it, and this page at the very least lends credence to it.

Well, rubber and cold don't go well together (cold can shrink rubber, though human rubber might react differently.)

Yeah, super-stretchy/shapeshifting heroes always have sub-zero temperatures as a major weakness.

I noticed not everybody is wearing gloves, it's a bad idea to play in the snow with your bare hands, they can get really numb and I recall Andy mentioning a girl named Tiffany who was five years old.

Huh. Chalk that up to ignorance on my part. Like I said, don't deal with snow that much. ^^
