And this marks the end of the snowball fight. Yeah, not terribly long unfortunately, but Adam didn't want to drag the chapter on for too long and we still have an actual fight to get to.

Will say, this chapter's been pretty intensive to color, lot of heads to be found in it. Plus the art in general gets more complicated and flashy later on, plus starting with page 300 we have shading. Speaking of, the countdown is on to 300 - it's ten pages away. Though page 300 of Blues isn't really as big a deal as page 300 of WaR will be.

Anyway, I really like that shot there of the last panel. Does sort of put into perspective that there are a lot of kids in the center, and that's even with some notable omissions - no Alex, no Ruby, no Takeru kid, no Pit boy, no Lenore, and a good few other extras are missing too.

Anyway, we still have a good ways to go in this chapter, but the next page will be sort of kicking things into gear on the superhero side of the plot.

Yeah, final panel was a case of "Ughhhh.... God, what was I thinking?" In retrospect, a shot of Stickset walking out the gates while a cascade of snowballs were about to rain down on her (which she couldn't see), would've been a lot easier to draw and also a lot funnier.

This is also probably the closest we'll get to a student body photo, by the way. Not just because that many heads will be a massive pain to draw, but also because I'm fairly vague on knowing how many students are actually enrolled in the school. I really don't wanna give a direct answer there.

On the plus side, last panel DOES look really cool.... ^^ Plus it sets up a joke for about a week from now. Though the joke is a bit clumsily executed sooo...

But yeah, again, didn't want to go too long on the snowball fight and kinda consciously cut it short. I did want to go into how the Blues kids' combat experience has already had a pretty big effect on them, and that members of the group with comparatively crummier powers can probably take out non-combative people in the center fairly easily.

Also I liked doing Stickset's outfit. If nothing else about her, lady's well-dressed when I get the chance to put her in something besides her coat. Very 40s Movie-Star-Ish.

That's right kids, join forces and band together against your common and shared enemy, even if she gives you all detention it will be totally worth it, NOW GET HER!!!

She can't give them all detention she would have no one to show off on her field trips, and that would mean *Gasp* low publicity.

Heheh.... Weird; I just realized THIS is the first "Common Enemy" scenario in the comic thus far. Pretty funny given how common that is in super-hero stories. ^^

Happy birthday, by the way.

Kids careful your ability to function as a well working fighting unit in fake combat is suspicious, or in layman's terms your ability to work well together in a snowball fight is weird.

"There is nothing at all unusual about our talent for forming a cohesive unit. Pay no attention to that, or the number of times we're out of school and nobody can find us."

Yes, children, pelt the bald woman with snowballs. Better yet, make it yellow snow. ^^

Heh.... Wouldn't that take a fair amount of effort? You'd have to take your pants off in the freezing snow, find an area of the yard where nobody can see you..... Again, I never got to have snowball fights as a kid, so clueless on this.

Well, it would be easy for Guy, since his can't be see- hold it, why am I talking about 6-8 year-olds urinating on snow?
