Right off the bat - be sure to come by Tuesday for the third anniversary! As has become the standard for our comics we'll have a picture up previewing the coming year of the story.

Admittedly I kind of lazied out on this page. I only really did the first half of it and some scattered stuff in the second half, and asked Adam to get the rest. Fortunately that's kind of a rarity these days - as we were approaching the end of the, "Spend painstaking hours cleaning up the art in MS Paint after having to convert it to being monochrome in order to properly color it," era, I got overwhelmed a lot and had to ask Adam to handle it a fair bit. A lot of the time particularly with Blues it seemed like it was taking longer for me to color them than it for Adam to draw them, and that's not a quick process in its own right.

Fortunately, the switch to MS has made things way quicker. I think it was mostly just me feeling unsure about the idea of doing so many new outfits out of the blue (heh) that had me so eager to put this page off. I did the backgrounds and the first two panels, plus some other bits, but that was where I got hung up and eventually passed the buck. I've colored way more complex than this since, especially now with the move to shading. Speaking of, that'll be popping up in Blues starting with page 300, which is now seven pages away.

The description of that coat reminds me of somebody. Not sure who.

Wooo! First day of Cyphacon was awesome! Tomorrow I got the Smash Brothers tourney and more Pokemon matches... Yeah, big day tomorrow. ^^

Yeah, Andy's right; can't we just play in the snow for the rest of the chapter? Awww....

Still, had a lot of fun with the first two panels, especially Lenore and Pit-Boy. This was the main reason I needed Grant to drop the hat somewhere; needed an excuse for him to fly away and come back after spotting Martina. Sometimes these kids not having a "Blue-Signal" makes it hard for them to cross paths with the bad guys, but on the plus side, does let me be a bit creative. ^^

OH! Can't believe we never discussed Martina's winter coat. Yeah, I think I just really wanted a chance to put her in another outfit and look nice and pretty for the snowy weather, so cobbled this together on the spur of the moment. Especially like the snowflake symbol on the chest, and the blowing winds on her hips. ^^

Jake's jacket is just like him, tough on the outside but warm on the inside, what was Lore trying to say about pockets?
