Yeah, this pretty much takes the Wright as Rayne page 200 approach of just having some dialogue drawing attention to the occasion and not actually doing anything special with it. Better than page 100 of it which didn't actually have anything to mark it as such since I didn't realize it was the 100th page at the time.

But hey, this isn't about Wright as Rayne, this is Blue Blood Heroes! Yeah, kind of like was the case when BP had its 250th page recently, it's like right after the anniversary so most of the looking back has been covered and such.

So, now you know part of why I took the approach I did to the blue effect on Orion, since Franklin has the same thing going on for most of the rest of the chapter. Yeah, coloring in MS makes it way easier to keep things like that consistent, and makes them easier to do in the first place.

Oh, and someone gets kicked into oblivion, that's another special thing for the 300th page. If I wasn't able to find anything special for it (which I wound up doing) then that's what I was going to do in WaR.

No clue what I'm doing in BP. The 300th page will fall midway in chapter twelve which I'm presently scripting, I should really figure something out. I will say I think I already know what I'm doing for WaR's 400th.

Attention if you read Wright as Rayne or Black Princess: The Weekend updates for both comics are canceled this month. We're really, really sorry about this, but Martin's had some internet problems and my schoolwork this week is way, way heavier than I expected. Blues will update as scheduled.

The Star-Power enhancement was something I'd been curious to finally see. Martina and Franklin are meant to be a Battle Couple of sorts so felt weird that last time they didn't even interact all that much 'til thrown at each other. They're sorta meant to be closer to the Warlock/Protector Battle-Couple system from Negima, come to think of it.

This I think was the first time we experimented with shading, and naturally we love it so much we'll be sticking with it from here on out. In particular, love how this makes the last two pages in the chapter look. Some of the best work we've done visually thus far, those.

Am a bit annoyed that the 300th page here is a let-down, but fell at an awkward time and the other hundred-point-marks have been good, at least. Chapter'll end on 310, and then we can get to the crossover.

Believe it or not, Jenny checking Martina as she kicks off in the first panel is a plot point for later. ^^ Much later, after the crossover's done with, but have something planned for it.

Sometimes wonder if that's a pain for folks. Me and Martin often complain about certain other comics setting up major plot-threads (web and print varieties) and then either forgetting about them due to the writers having ADHD or just never bothering to actually resolve them and instead just piling on more crap. Doing it from the other side, wonder if, since we know what the answers will be down the line, we might be guilty of the same stuff, but think we're pretty much okay.

I dunno, I've become a real snob about comics since I started making my own. Whatever, rambling now, hope you enjoy. ^^

So the snowfall is a curse that she has to concentrate to maintain? Oh ouch that looked like it really hurt and Lore's got much higher defense than her teammates this battle just got a lot harder.

Heheh... GLadja like. ^^ We're really enthusiastic about the shading ourselves.

That has to hurt. And the way her head is, I really hope that this isn't a hospital level injury. Please don't tell Jake is going to have to pull the plug on them because of this.

It's not exactly a minor injury but don't think the plug's gonna get pulled just before the crossover. ^^

Ok, thanks. I haven't checked any updates for the other two comics before I made the previous comment. Guess it serves me right for being behind on things.
