Well, that's the plan. Not much of one, but Martina did apparently need to be distracted in order to nail her.

Let's see, where to start on this page.... For the last panel, I tried my best to make the arm look really unnaturally-bent without going cartoony with it. It's a hard approximation to make, but I hope I did okay. It's supposed to be broken and I was trying my best to convey that just in how it looks. That's a pretty serious injury for the kids to inflict, but it's a dire situation at the moment.

I kinda like how we don't see Grant getting KOed by Franklin. Last time we saw the two of them, Grant was facing him down, and then now we see Franklin's holding him unconscious. I think it conveys something neat to just show the two "ends" of the fight to the audience, as long as it's not an excuse to be lazy. Also, Franklin seems to really be making a habit of using Grant as a club.

Jake goes down too; he got an awesome moment just now but probably left himself open. If you're a Geek Mythology buff like I am, you'll know Gaia wasn't necessarily the one who killed Orion. Various retellings of his death also attribute it to Apollo or even Artemis herself. I think Gaia is the most famous one, so eh.

Oh, and here're Martin's comments:

Speaking of Gaia, everyone should go read the webcomic called that! Or not. Or do, it's actually really good. Though pretty slowly paced.

So, way to go, Nimble! Could he be able to turn around this fight single-handedly? If so he's probably going to need to hurry about it.

What else to say here then... Not a lot really. It is the last page we see Franklin with the full blue effect, there is that. Though that's not exactly hard to do or anything anyway.

Have to like how Nicky's concerned about his sister being clubbed, but not his best friend being used as the club. Blue blood's thicker than blue water I guess.

Nimble actually broke her arm, that's a good display of his strength there and it's most likely the case that Martina's concentration broke along with her arm.

Yeah, doesn't show his strength beyond his ability to jump and bounce all over the place (which takes impressive leg strength) so this was a good sign for it. ^^

I agree with that. Let's just hope that enchantment broke with her arm as well.
