Hey, these guys! Everyone probably figured it'd be them since, y'know, they were mentioned on the radio at the start of the chapter.

Actually just finished coloring the sequence coming off of this earlier today - be sort of a long one. Very busy one too for reasons that will make themselves apparent soon. For now, though, it's just talk and people.

Think that's all I've got on this one admittedly. I'm happy with it, just is the starting page of a pretty long sequence so most of what comes to mind is more appropriate to bring up later. Guess could say that it is pretty convenient that the lead-in pages for the fights in all three comics will be going up all in a row. That's pretty neat.

Oh, there is one funny thing - the guy with the mountain beard? Adam asked after a few pages of seeing him if I based his color scheme off of a wrestler, Sheamus. In actuality I based it off of a different wrestler, Erick Rowan. Very similar appearance, though Rowan is pure bald instead of just on top.

Anyway, yeah. All I've got, so thanks for reading and hope you keep doing so!

Huh. Yeah, all three fights'll be starting in earnest next week. Weird coincidence. ^^

But yeah, just dialog I'd wanted to try for a while and finally getting to see Persephone's Children. Again, I have uhh... plans for the group's leader Antlers in the gardener's hat, but they need some time to set-up. Before the payoff he's not that interesting a villain. In fact, that was a major problem with writing this fight scene at first; Antlers as it turns out was way too similar to Martina in ways that become apparent very shortly. Had to tweak things to make him more unique. Again, that won't be a problem next time he shows up. It's complicated, will elaborate when it becomes clear. I realize I'm not making any sense, got a lot pulling at my attention as I type this.

You'll notice a lot of the debris and plants and vines all over the place in this room. I get really annoyed with how fight scenes often wind up taking place in featureless rooms that get more boring as they go on. To try and step it up, I compensated by giving this room a lot of detail and trying to see it up and distinct through this whole fight scene. See if we can't turn that bad habit around.

I really wanna get into something about comic covers and content, not just them lying but them SORTA lying, like how Val and Jenny aren't with the group the way they were in the cover, but kinda too scatter-brained for that. ^^

Ouch. I bet getting wrapped up with those arms hurt!

Heheh.... Well, they're meant to be vines. ^^ Most likely, though. Am always really happy to see a new commenter. Hi!

I was wondering if one of those guys was Antlers. This page has images from both the Year 3 and Year 4 previews, I think that destroying that video camera is the first thing that needs to be done.

Heheh... Yeah, been meaning to bring up Salix for a while. ^^ He'll be getting more mentions next time Persephone's Children show up. But yeah, that'd be Antlers. I can't recall if he's actually called that in the comic proper, but it's made clear he's high up in the organization in a minute.
