First off, swing by tomorrow for a little Christmas bonus! Doing it for all three comics this year so also will have something up on WaR and BP.

Anyway, yeah, this page is a little strange. Our mystery girl has a name now at least, though it'll be a bit before we really get much insight into who exactly she is or what the deal with her is. Like, actually pretty late into the chapter to be honest, though we'll be cutting back to her periodically before that point.

Think that's about all I've got here admittedly, sort of blanking on much specific to say about this page though I do like how it came out. Hopefully everybody enjoys and be sure to swing by tomorrow!

Happy Christmas Eve, at least, folks.

Yeah, I do kinda regret the oddness of Susan's appearance. Even her powers are never directly stated and instead kinda-sorta deduced by the Blues kids. In general, character didn't turn out the way I expected her too, though thanks to some advice from Martin, think that can be used to the comic's advantage in the long-term.

Aaaaanyway, enough cryptic comments, see more of what's going on with Meyers here. ^^ It's mostly just a clue in to her personality. Honestly, I kinda hold this to a B-Plot to the idea of the kids training. I have a lot of fun with Susan (mostly in the way she's drawn, she winds up with a few ticks of body language) but the training is kinda the meat of the chapter. Not that this isn't going anywhere, it is.

Jeez, that's still pretty cryptic. ..... Uhhh.... Okay, here's one spoiler-esque thing I wanted to bring up; her last name is Meyers. It'll be a while before that turns up in-comic and that's primarily what she's referred to by me and Martin, so figured I should clarify it.

Susan is an oddball who looks to be on the impulsive side, and I spy an extra who reminds me of Samus.

Heheh.... That's one way to sum her up. We'll see more of exactly how impulsive she is shortly. ^^

But... Actually, no, that's not based on Samus, though Samus does show up later in the chapter. .... Twice, actually, in two different NPCs. As is this family isn't based off anyone.
