For some reason this page just took me forever to work up the urge to color it, and I eventually just had to throw it to Adam to handle it himself. Not really sure why - all I'd really had left were the backgrounds - but man, for some reason I just did not want to do this one.

Not sure what all I've got to say on it as a result, though think it is looking pretty decent. Do like how the page has a use of fire in its own right following that last page, dunno if that was intentional or not but it's a nice little mirror on things.

Think that's about all I've got unfortunately but hope everybody enjoys.

I honestly don't think it was intentional, no. ^^

It's kinda funny I did a fair chunk of art on this page myself, given I do really love Martin's coloring job on it. I was very impressed with the scheme he'd given Meyers in it; even though she's just getting a trendy outfit, he colored it so it looked like a costume. Really had a great effect for the rest of the chapter. That jewelry was kind of a pain to keep adding, though.

In general, this background was a pain. Actually get why Martin didn't want to do it, since all of those individual clothes were tedious as hell. In general I don't like doing stores since you inevitably have to do shelves and... Ugh. Shellllves.

But yeah, this page does give us a bit more understanding on how Meyers thinks and acts, though. We'll discuss that more when she and the kids finally meet up.

Huh. That store clerk has her eyes shut in every panel you can see them in. Didn't mean to go all Brock with it, just was trying to make her look perky. Didn't even notice until just now.

Oh yeah Meyers has no idea how the world works, and that looks like Rosalina and Peach in the first panel.

As well as Ganondorf, and DK taking the brunt of Meyers's attack.

Had to include Ganondorf; a few years ago I had to go to Goodwill to put together a cosplay suit, and met some folks there for the same reason, and when I asked who he was, bluntly said "Businessman Ganondorf." Surprised you got DK, though. ^^ If you can get the saleswoman I'll be REALLY impressed. She's one of the characters on the roster, but an obscure edition.
