Yeaaaaah, the sudden ending to the chapter and the follow-up one really messes quite a few things up for the plans.

Originally, the chapter was going to end with Aurora calling the Center to relay all this information to the kids, as Meyers had been sent to the same mental health facility that she was. But because of the sudden ending and wanting to do a mini-chapter largely devoted to Marvelous Man's public debut it couldn't work. Processing someone and having them judged as mentally incompetent enough to be sent to a mental health facility would take too long, and Marvelous Man's debut would need to happen the next day.

I could've let this sit until the chapter was mostly over with, but this was the only way I could think of to address those people left there and didn't want to leave that sitting. So yeah exposure to these meteorites are what give Meyers her powers, like backwards-Kryptonite. Longer she's away, more difficulty she has in summoning up her powers.

I wasn't entirely sure about bringing her back for a return, though I do try and make it so all the villains can swing by again (For the record, every villain we've seen thus far besides Darkskull will be recurring), but Martin told me to leave the door open so here it is. ^^ I think she might be more interesting with a comeback, might make a decent comedy villain who's also threatening. I dunno, will need to see how it goes.

So yeah, at least Martin'll have something to talk about for the coloring of this one this time. ^^

Bah, lost track of time and forgot to comment on things.

But yeah, one thing of note - this happened a little within the chapter too but it's really obvious here (not too much so in the chapter proper since it only happens at night), I wanted to do this thing where as she was losing her powers her colors became less vibrant and more sort of faded and dull. Originally her design was also supposed to change throughout the chapter in a similar vain but like Adam said, a lot of plans got changed for this chapter.

Not sure what I've really got on this one besides that, though am happy with how it came out. Maybe shouldn't have gone quite as dark with her hair as I did - might lighten that up next time she shows up. I have pitched a few different ideas for follow-up stories with her to Adam, we'll see how that ends up.

The name of this page makes me think of the opening song to the South Park movie.

So that's why her family looked so sick, wow she's faded to gray and I hope she doesn't bother Aurora too much.

Well, can't be a worse person to hang out with than Fortress. ^^
