Oh, right. Just because he's a tree doesn't mean he doesn't have intense magical powers. C'mon, you all couldn't think killing him would be as easy as someone flicking on a lighter, right? I mean, our main protagonists are butt-kicking children, so opponents being tougher than you'd think should be pretty common around here.

Holy crap, I just realized in typing that that this entire chapter has been Kids & Cyborgs vs. Evil Tree and Demon-Animals. That's awesome.

Anyway, last panel was pretty difficult to put together due to the angel. Weirdly in the script Grant wasn't coming to the rescue in grabbing Shinobu, but Nicky was supposed to be roping both of them. It wasn't until actually drawing it I thought "Y'know... Grant could be helping here, why isn't he?"

Not sure what all I've got to say on this one offhand. Like, at all really. I do like how the page came out, quite a bit really, but just coming up completely blank on specifics of it, which is kind of weird because it's not been very long since I colored this.

Yeah, I dunno. It's not been a great night so maybe it's that. Hope everyone enjoys at least. I really need to pick up the pace on Blues coloring, been having computer issues most recent times I've worked on it which is kind of putting me off of trying.

People don't argue among yourselves when there's an evil villain right in front of you( even when said evil villain is a tree).

I think the fact that he's a tree caused everyone to sort of forget where they were and what they were doing.

I don;'t really get the kids arguing. this tree is self proclaimed going to keep murdering, on a wide scale. this is something even superman would of taken out. and you can say "well his code agint killing!" But that didn't apply to doomsday, he was stait up ready to murder that monster, and this tree, showing off it's powers, and staing it plans to murder ALL humanity, falls into kill it now terrotry.

Whoa, in all fairness, Superman is REALLY selective on the "code against killing" thing. I've seen his refuse to kill friggin' Darkseid on more than one occasion.

Besides, it's really, really out of character for the kids to immediately decide "Kill it" without even trying to fight it first. You start by using force to stop it and jail it; you don't just shoot for the face the first second you see it (unless you work for Stalin). He says he wants to destroy the world; maybe there's more than they're getting. You really want first option to be "Okay, kill it"?
