..... So this a thing that's happening now.

Yeah this page was a pretty massive pain for both me and Martin but it came out great. ^^

So yeah, Mech finding the information on how to get here from Stranger's records so easily? Implication is that Salix has been leaving hints so various heroes and law-enforcement folks could make their way to his glen and wind up falling before him. Our heroes are just one more crop of them for him to harvest.

Originally I just had the main zombies you can make out in the front with a sort of lumpy "hoard" behind them that was just a single massive blob. Martin suggested I take this approach instead, with single silhouettes and yeah, this looks way creepier.

Some of the individual zombies in the hoard are.... She-Hulk Expy, Saminus Prime, a Captain Cold expy, some weird mesh between Johnny Cage and Batou from Ghost In The Shell, Thor-Kahn, an archer, a Deadman/Dr. Strange mesh, Sunfire, and some really weird-looking Hal Jordan expy. I tried to inculde on each of them symbols for what killed them, but with the lighting it's hard to make out.... The She-Hulk expy as a noose around her neck, Saminus Prime has a heavy-bleeding chest wound, the Thor-Kahn is missing a chunk of skull....

I'm not really big into zombies myself. I never quite got why so many folks are so crazy about them... Well, okay, I get it, just not my thing. Even most video games about Zombie-killing I was never a fan of. I find it's most interesting in the morbidness of the concept; these aren't just monsters you can kill with no guilt. These used to be people with their own dreams and desires, now made into monsters. Appropriately enough my favorite zombie-related-anything is Marvel Zombies (the first one, before they ran that title into the ground), mostly because in that one the zombie-heroes are still intelligent and self-aware.

Yeah, this page is... different. And was naturally very time-consuming for both of us.

Really wanted to get it just right to boot. Didn't really keep the inspirations for the designs in mind when coloring these though, just kind of did what felt right. Closest is probably the Samus Prime thing, where I didn't really notice the Optimus thing and was coloring more with Samus in mind while trying to avoid drifting too close to Iron Man.

Think Adam pretty well covered the gist of this one, yeah. Very impactful page hopefully and one I'm really curious to hear thoughts on.

My favorite zombie thing is probably Undead Nightmare. Zombies aren't remotely my thing either, and it really does nothing new with the idea, but it's just fun.

Okay this is unexpected, zombies aren't my thing either but horror is my least favorite genre, oh boy how are they going to get out of this mess.

See, I like horror a good deal, it's just that I'm not into the huge zombie-craze. Am curious what you'll think of what's coming here.
