Yeah, was page was kind of a pleasant surprise. I did wanna do an inverse of that page where the group was entering the forest, heading back out, but wasn't quite the lay-out I had in mind until I drew it. That whole "start at the back and move forward" bit wasn't planned.

Yeah, again, recovering from that bit of weirdness and asking weird questions about that collection of corpses. Also addressing how they got Chiko-tan out when he got crumbled. I guess they just left his bottom half lying there in the glen.

I wanted that question on where Salix came from and how he became sentient to be lingered on more, but wasn't quite handled as directly. Ah, well, between this and Grant asking about it in the last panel, guess that's fine.

..... Huh. I was gonna have rain in this page. Y'know, all depressed, walking home in the rain.... Eh.

Man, moving out of the fight was a relief with the coloring. Even better when we get out of the woods.

Really like the more relaxed atmosphere of this page, everyone just kind of limping out as best they can while the more green tint of things kind of shows it's over. Just a good feel to everything. Also like the bookend with the silhouettes first in a line heading into the forest then back out of it.

Think that's really all I've got but yeah, happy with this page. Incidentally Wednesday's update will go by just fine but the one after it will be replaced with the annual Halloween filler instead, so be ready for that.

Andy and Nicky look so silly, lots of things being talked, wonder what's going to happen next.

I'm glad it ended the way it did. I was kinda worried there for a moment. But, if i might pull away from the story here, and talk about the art itself.

While I like the style you guys are going for, it seems crude. Now, DON'T take that the wrong way. I don't mean it in a bad way... I could never draw to this level if I even tried.

However, I do know a fair bit about proportions and such. And admittedly, it's a very common issue I see in the comic. Is the proportions. Sometimes the kids seem absolutely tiny compared to the adults, who look like friggin' giants.

Now, I know, kids are small. But the average 6 year old is probably about 3'6" inches, and Lore, she seems close to like 2'7".

That's assuming like, Jake is about 6'0. Though sometimes he seems close to 7'0. Again, this is not like, trying to bash anything or anyone. I know you guys put a lot of work into it. There's just a lot of inconsistency in the art sometimes. I only do these large comments, though, when I really really enjoy something and want to see it go that extra mile, to be what it's meant to be, and such, you know? I'm no professional by any means. XD

Keep up the good work, guys, I look forward to seeing more and more of how this story unfolds. (And maybe some more darker aspects too)

Heh.. Don't worry about the constructive criticism. This is good stuff. ^^

Hmm.... Yeah, I have noticed inconsistency in the art; it's one thing in particular we've been working to eliminate (albeit with small steps). The height thing is... a good point. Especially troublesome since I personally don't pay attention to height except how it relates to other characters (Lore is slightly shorter than Andy and Nicky, who are one head shorter than Grant and Val, Jenny is the same height as those two but would be Andy's height if not for her legs, ect). Specific heights always eluded me.

But... Hmm... It is an interesting point. I suppose I should look more into it. It's a very cartoony idea, I think it's even on Tropes... I personally sorta feel okay with the height aspect since it's cute. Then again, I love to bitch about how super-hero comics have no idea how to draw children and instead draw very tiny people with adult proportions, so be hypocritical of me to at least not examine it....

Thanks. ^^ I'll look into it and see what I can do. We keep trying to find new areas to improve things, systematically.
