God, I'd been waiting the entire chapter to do that "Revenge List" joke.

But suppose the main focus of this would be on that speech, which is something I kinda wanted to explore not just about Blues, but about this universe. It's one where people can die.

Mech's speech isn't wrong; this business IS dangerous and at any moment something bad could happen. I didn't wanna get all deconstructive or anything, but just add a touch of realism to say, "Yeah, sometimes things just go in a terrifying direction." It's... kinda hard to explain, I guess. Just I've seen a lot of adventure stories where you understand "This bad guy will never hurt anyone. Even if he didn't have to deal with story structure, he wouldn't want to." Wanted it clear that didn't always happen.

It's kind of a hard tight-rope to walk. Like I said; I don't want the story to get super-dark like this all the time. In fact, I guarantee the next chapter'll have an especially light, breezey tone to help bounce back from this one. But I needed to establish that this element was there.

..... So yeah! Here's the Revenge List in case you can't read it in the page proper; Professor Reginald Banders, The Irish Republican Army, Antoine Colt, Marsha Mills, Boss Himoto, Leslie Jackson and his Vanishing Doves, OPEC, Mad Man Milly Muck, Upstart Blue Blood Children (Nah, they're okay), Bob Dylan, Rocking Rosie, The Lourve (Organization owning it), The Lourve (Building itself), Persephone's Children

Oh, right! Halloween's on Saturday! Story's gonna take a break to see it!

First off, man, past few days have been kind of miserable for me. First was sick, now dealing with some sort of foot injury that's pretty much rendered me lucky if I'm able to do anything but sit around with it propped up. Seems to be getting better. Hopefully so, in part because of it not colored the next WaR page yet.

Anyway... Yeah, this is a subject that's kind of been hanging over the comics from day one and kind of has been needing to be addressed. It's been mentioned in WaR that Alex has killed people before, and I have the idea that if you're really serious about this job, that happening eventually is practically an inevitability.

Think all I've really got, rather distracted between a number of things, the foot included. Hope everyone enjoys, and be sure to come by Saturday for the Trick or Treat picture for this year!

Mech's eyes were blown out his face, he really is lucky to be alive, looking forward to seeing what costumes the kids and Jake will be wearing this year.

Yeah, it's weird when you think of the awesome cyborgs as actually just handicapped people with advanced prosthetics.
