In between this page and the one after it there was a script that I cut because it wasn't very funny. Was basically Qure needing it to sink in that there was no way to beat the electricity thing, then getting to his knees and doing that "NOOO!" thing again before meekly agreeing to head to the elevator. Cut it because I just didn't think it was very funny and was only writing it to show how they'd get from the roof to the street in this page. Instead I just added that one panel at the start of this one.

I kinda wonder if the kids feel bad making Qure look even crazier like this. They clearly feel bad for the guy and this probably isn't doing him any favors. Then again, after Qure is the one who initiates a fight with THEM, it's not really fair for him to call Marvelous Man once he's beaten. Dude's a Tattle-Tale. Plus I do like how the kids could immediately see what he was about to do and hid before they could be spotted.

One consistent problem with the comic in introducing new villains is every bad guy needs a reason to not report the children to the media or the police. Like with Darkskull, it doesn't work for Quartz to say it since he's obviously insane (I think this incident with Marvelous Man is one of MANY poorly-conceived attempts at making heroes illegal). Even so, if enough people come in claiming they were stopped by child super-heroes, it'll only be so long before people wonder about the commonness of this really specific delusion.

Not sure how much I have to say on this one offhand, is a pretty self-explanatory page I think. Do like the group kind of seeing this coming and pouncing to avoid it though, nice little thing I think shows they're kind of learning from experience here.

Remember at a point Adam asked if there should be a joke where we actually see the elevator ride. His main hesitation was that it'd potentially break up the flow a bit, but I also pointed out it would've been kind of similar to that one Spider-Man joke. So yeah, none of that here, though still probably would've been funny.

Not too terribly long left to go in the chapter, but not quite at the finish line just yet. Little bit more ground of note left to cover.

Give it up Quartz, nobodies going to believe a word you say and the kids are to smart and quick for you, wonder what's going to happen next.
