Jeez, where do we start with talking on this one?

The idea from page one was that Marvelous Man would always fly into an unstoppable rage at Decay Conductor, so we actually had trouble thinking of a way he'd stop her without actually killing her. Me and Martin had a blast writing her and we absolutely have to bring her back, so MM smashing her head like a grape wasn't an option.

Shooting the umbrella mid-way into making it a bomb seemed like a cool way to go out. Then partway through writing that realize "Nah, she should lose a hand too. That way she can have a robot one when she shows back up."

Speaking of... that's a fairly gory image for this comic (Wait, Firefox recognizes the word "Gory?"). To say nothing of how flimsy covering Decay Conductor up has been. This is like Salix territory in pushing the limits on this being a kids' comic. Do like the touch that Marvelous Man gives her his cape to cover herself, at least. Again, something I wanted to happen from the start of the fight, hence when his outfit was wrecked his cape is almost entirely intact.

Martin's better fit to handle the technical stuff here, is a lot of it. ^^

Yeah, where to even start with this one...

Wanting to experiment a bit with the shading on this one, try something a little different. Already become the norm with the shading, though in pages since this one I've done some tightening up on it.

So yeah, this is the end of this fight from now because yeah, after getting a hand blown off you're kinda going to need to sit a spell. Cutting back to the school given that, but we're not done with Marvelous Man for this chapter - actually still quite a lot of this chapter left to come even with the fight over with.

Whoa don't see something like that everyday, wonder what's going on back at the school.

I think you'll enjoy. ^^ It's a couple of characters we haven't seen in a while.

No pressure on the wound or tourniquet. Guess she will blood out then.
Covering her with the cape seems more covering a corpse which she may soon be without first aid.

Erm... Eheh... Good point. ^^ Honestly, the cape thing might've been better if she had been face-up and needed something to cover her breasts. That was the original idea with this script, but in drawing it she wound up flipped over.
