Andy's family is back. Heheh... Yeah, this was the only set of Guardians Jake had already met, so naturally had to reference that here. Naturally was great to see the lot of them again, especially his Mom and Alice. I love the minor tidbit on his mom's eyes. ^^

Yeah, jumping onto people's shoulders randomly is a bit weird, when you think about it, isn't it? Likewise the fact that Jake asks the kids to just call him by his first name. I think Andy's family is the most "normal" of the lot, and are probably the ones most surprised by how unusual their son's life is. Even without knowing the main details.

I really could've cut the conversation between Valerie and Vespi and lose little, but really liked it. I like the idea of giving Valerie a real interest in science, and can see inter-dimensional travel as essentially the same thing as traveling between planets. I just prefer the term "realm" to "dimension" since Dimension implies weird What-If stories that you see in comics where it's just an alternate timeline where everyone's evil. Realm implies more separate worlds entirely, which is more along the lines of stuff I'd wanna explore.

The talk about realms might remind you a bit of Mortal Kombat, but that's only because it's totally what I was basing the idea around. I was so into it that originally Vespi called our planet "Earthrealm" until Martin pointed out that was a little too on the nose and suggested I change it.

Already shading's looking a bit more natural here. Did this after a few WaR pages worth of it if memory serves, though those haven't gone up yet.

Is good seeing Andy's parents again. Have they gotten the most screentime of the parents / guardians thus far? Figure it's either them or Lori. Though guess none of them have really been all that heavily present.

Do like the thing here with them being kind of the voices of reason. It's easy to forget seeing him so often that Andy's actually pretty weird.

Andy's parents are looking a little stressed, wonder what's going to happen next.
