That moment where you're playing Pokemon Moon and realize "Oh, crap! We've only got five hours to write, draw, prep and color a page!"

Yeah, was decided a while back that this filler would be a map of the school, but totally left it until the last minute. ^^ Thankfully it was quite easy.

Yeaaaaaah, I've honestly ducked the question of the layout of the school for a LONG time. When I finally sat down and worked everything out just kept thinking, "Jeez, I should've figured this out a looong time ago." Feels much better now that I know where everything is.

One thing I wanted to emphasize, especially with the unused floor, is that the school is really, really under-capacity. The idea is that more and more kids will join over the years as the current students grow into teenagers and younger ones come in. Plus imagine more parents will just opt to induct their kids as they go on.

Yeah, this is really less about the art and more about just being informative in general. Something we've been needing to hash out for a good awhile and have been talking about a fair bit lately. Incidentally for a looong time I've wanted to do this with the Eighth Sin base, though we haven't yet spent any major time there or really explored it so it isn't quiiite as pressing as the Blues one long has been.

Not a whole lot to comment on exactly with this one, is what is really, but do hope people will enjoy learning this information.

Yay, info-dump!!...seriously, I enjoy background info like this as it was kinda driving me nuts too on the layout of the place. Also just how the kids get away with being gone so frequently it seems without somebody noticing. Stickset, no, we all know she'd be happy to ignore them for the most part; higher risk students notwithstanding. But somebody should be noticing this.

Heh. That's actually a big problem with the school, yeah. ^^ You... might need to wait for an explanation on THAT one.

Looks like I will be doing an archive dump for external school images.
I thought there was about three floors maximum.

Eheh.... Thaaat's because up until I drew this page there WERE only thee floors. ^^ Eheh... Yeah, this is really just a straight retcon. When I sat down to plan the layout of the school and looked into what all it would need to function I just had that moment where I thought "Crud... it needs WAY more than just three floors." Sorry, man.

Not necessarily - 3 could be enough if the floorplan is large enough, or maybe includes wings.

I am surprised that the good doctor didn't claim the top floor for herself. Penthouse kind of thing. Maybe she has, but is keeping it mum, so no-one bothers her? Nah, I guess she like her peace and quiet in the basement.
Maybe she's acrophobic.

The thing about a 10 story building is, there is no way they'd allow kids on the roof. Actually, I can't imagine kids allowed on the roof of any school, but with a 10-story fall possible the access would be limited and alarmed.
