Ughhh... Shouldn't've waited until I was just about to lie down to set this page up. Whatever, I'll power through it. Sorry about the wait on that one, folks. Tooth thing really smacked me around.

But yeah, this was nearly the second page of the chapter (notice how it directly follows the cold-opening with Insomniac and Aurora), but that would've kicked the chapter off following Marvelous Man vs The Insomniac right away.

Honestly, I have so much planned for these two fighting that I really struggle to write the kids' half of the plot. Most of the plans I have with them are toward the end of the chapter, so hard to come up with stuff in the meantime. And it's vitally important I give the kids stuff to do since, judging by the Insomniac's reaction, nonstop Marvelous Man gets pretty insufferable.

That one panel with Spencer was something I had wanted to work into the comic for a looong time. Like, ever since Blue vs. Green I wanted to have a scene where Spencer thanks Marvelous Man while at the same time knowingly trying to drop (plausibly deniable) hints about the Blues kids. Not for any real reason, he probably just thinks the fallout from the two meeting would be funny. ^^

The kids in the Pediatric ward are expies of the kids from My Hero Academia. Watched the anime recently and friggin' loved it; scratched me right were I itched. The main kid actually reminded me a lot of Grant. ^^

Who noticed what Insomniac noticed?

EDIT: WHOA! Eheh... Jeez, nearly went to bed without editing out that one swear-word in the last panel. That would've been awkward. ^^

This one took awhile to color, what with jumping back and forth a lot and having a high headcount.

Fun one, though, some interesting shots and I like the overall briskness of kind of hammering in the narrative a bit more here. Could see where it'd be a little awkward structurally suddenly flashing back a week when we had a page this more logically could've followed before getting to the Halloween part, but no sense waiting until several pages in to get to the kids as would be the case if we'd gone that route.

Not sure how much else I've really got, think Adam pretty well summed it up, but do hope everyone enjoys.

Some man seems to be following MM around, very interesting, wonder what's going to happen next.

Heh... Glad you got that... We were kinda afraid we were making it too subtle. ^^

Yeah, I get the insomniac's frustration. I can't even imagine to the fullest extent the sheer...agony in a sense of forcing yourself for whatever reasons to follow THIS guy around, to talk to/listen to him AND hear his every thought. If I were in his position, I'd have probably lost it and seen if I couldn't just MAKE him be quiet for ten minutes.

And no biggy Adam, dental work is never fun and recovery from it is usually just as rough.

And on the matter of Spencer and his desires to se the repurcussions of his clue dropping...I admit, I am 100% with him. I wanna see a full confrontation, and enjoy the chaos.

Heh... At least with Insomniac, he gets an eight-hour break from hearing Marvelous Man's thoughts when the latter's asleep. So turns out there's ONE plus-side to being perpetually awake. ^^

But yeah, gladja liked the Spencer idea. Loved dropping those hints. ^^
