This one's a page I'm pretty fond of. Good few jokes going on with it all at once, between Lenore's ridiculous reactions, the reactions to those, and the cutaway to Jake, all pretty fun in my view.

Not sure how much I've got to say offhand unfortunately. If nothing else guess could weigh in on how it's kind of amusing how Jake was central to the last chapter and got way more screentime than the individual kids did and yet it's taken 24 pages into this one for him to appear in a single panel, but kind of appropriate that. Not the last we'll be seeing of him of course, though likely be a bit.

Kind of wonder if Adam was intentionally referencing this one panel in Gunnerkrigg Court with that panel of Xandy punching Amber. Very, very reminiscent to me of Kat punching Muut -

Did really like working on this one. In particular liked the two kids holding Lenore. The girl wasn't even supposed to have any dialog, but I liked how she looked with those big false teeth in her mouth, so wanted to hear her talking through those.

Originally in the script for this, Andy was going to be holding up that severed head for Lenore in the second-to-last panel, saying "Look! He doesn't want you to be sad!" Would've been cute but got lost in drawing it.

Liked seeing Jake again. Like Martin said, been mostly MIA in this chapter. Though weirdly, in chapters were Jake is especially prominent, he's usually not that present in the one following. Weird.

Martin's right on Xandy vs. Amber being inspired by Gunnerkrigg. We also get another nod to the Night Terror, which has been mentioned on-and-off through the comic. Probably nothing.

Leave it to Lenore to spook the people trying to spook her, as well as make them feel guilty about it, that last panel with Jake and Lore is really funny.

Couldn't have said it any better.
