Y'know, I'd been feeling down today, but a page like this is just what you need to remember how good life can be and how much these comics can make me happy. It's like... Screw the plot or anything; this is just COOL!

Grant actually breaks character when he hurts someone, and even before that he slips out of the Superman persona to get geeky for a minute. The bloke he's facing was drawn to resemble Kenshi from Mortal Kombat, a cool character in this own right, and SHUT UP, THEY'RE FIGHTING IN THE SKY NOW!

I think every time there's a page or picture where I get carried away Martin's the one who suffers. Didn't realize until he told me that I kiiiinda went overboard on the stars in the sky. Crap like that is really tedious. But it just looks so good. ^^

Not to mention... Heh. You guys had been making jokes about the danger of super-powered kids in a haunted house, figured I should have someone be hurt. I know this isn't how you guys thought it would happen (joint-locks hurt, but he'll be okay), but I also wanna keep showing off how the kids are improving. Was a good chance to show off Grant using his Aikido training.

See, felt all depressed when I started this but sometimes just a simple image like this can do a lot to cheer you up.

Fair warning, I might be a bit slow commenting on Saturday's page. Heading to Orlando for WrestleMania and have the Hall of Fame that evening.

So yeah, this page is pretty fun. The stars were pretty handily the most time-consuming part of it, but think it came out looking great and I did at least find some ways along the way to accelerate the process. Also helped this is the smallest amount of characters visible in one page in a good while, probably for either comic.

This is certainly a fun silly page, wonder what Andy's up to.

I too am curious about the well as if Su really intends to try and swing that chainsaw scythe or just stand there looking intimidating? I mean best case scenario for her, she can swing it and doesn't cause damage to the roof's flooring or some such, or at least avoids taking off someone's arm. Worst case, she breaks her own swinging a decidedly unwieldy and impractical if cool looking weapon and gets someone killed...while causing damage to the school she has to pay for most likely, as I don't see Stick-in-the-mud footing the bill for any collateral damage on her part.

Eheh... The chainsaw-scythe is just a prop, so at worst it might just bonk a kid on the head or possibly scruff up the roof; nothing really enough to cause any damage. Granted, Su really IS way too in-character so who knows what she's capable of. ^^

Ah. Now that makes sense. Like seriously the was the one thing I could not wrap my head around. Of all things, Chain Saw Scythe...which while as mentioned would look totally awesome, does not an effective weapon make. Still, I bet any damage Su does is either hers to fix, or hers to pay for...also any damage the kids cause, as this seems like the sort of thing Stickset will pin any fallout on her for, while naturally accepting credit for what was successful.

Yeah, now that part is true. ^^ Idea is that the buzzsaw-faced woman downstairs is Su's best friend and also rich, so she's footing the bill.
