The Chainsaw scythe is a prop! .... Not that Xandy's catch wasn't impressive, just want everyone to know she wasn't going to get anything worse than a bonk on the head. ^^

As I mentioned, we're getting more yardsticks about what makes a person who they truly are; Su touched on hers earlier, but here she's a bit more direct in saying that it's fear and how you respond to it that does it. ^^ Not a bad speech, is it?

One fan who IMs us actually said Su feels more a supervillain than a lot of the villains in either comic thus far. That's kinda because she's in-character so much that she fits it, and is playing the part of the kind of stereotypical supervillain we typically don't do with these comics (the "Take Over The World" type).

Again, wanted to show the kids improving with their skills, and we hadn't seen Lore use her Flash-Step in a bit so showed it off here. Re-wrote the "Not even her fears frighten her" like at the last minute, pitched it to Martin and said it was both funnier and more like something Trixie would say.

Well, back home from my trip to Orlando, but gout kicked in on the way so now in agonizing pain. Yaaay.

Fun page at least. Do like getting to go really dramatic with Su, and Xandy doing the mini-Alex thing continues to be cute. Plus around this point Lore started getting a bit easier to do as well, so win all around on that one.

It's a good thing Lore can control her super strength, otherwise that shove might've knocked Su off the building and basically murdered her.

Yeah, I don't think Stickset would enjoy explaining to the press how one of her faculty members was killed by a six-year-old.

Xandy I know you're channeling your dad right now but that giant plastic prop looks like it's a little too heavy for you, wonder what's going to happen next.
