Craaaap, okay, I guess Adam wasn't paying much mind to things and I had fallen asleep at the time he set the page up but he actually skipped ahead by two. So to everyone who already saw / commented on the page that had gone up... Just try and play ball until we get to that point I guess?

Yeah, this was kind of a problem to wake up to. I guess he was just tired or something, it happens, but has certainly had me scrambling to try to find a solution. If not for the fact it'd be posting three pages at once when we only have a queue of five or so I'd have just cobbled all of them together and edited it but... Is what it is.

No idea what I have to say on this one, especially in light of that whole matter combined with how this page ends but... Hope everyone enjoys.

The shots with Marvelous Man were framed to show off his size and make the kids look quite powerless in comparison. The beating from the last chapter is still pretty fresh in everyone's minds and it's clear he's not someone that can be in any way toppled. The kids all having their backpacks really did a lot to enhance that; the backpacks do a lot to remind you that they're kids, and therefore makes them look a lot more helpless.

I'm gonna admit it; there's no reason for Marvelous Man to have not gone after Jake first. He was someone Marshalls also was going to pick up and talk to, and no reason to not have him paged by the PA system. As-is it looks like Marshalls was going to go for him AFTER talking to the kids, which we'll learn shortly is something that makes no sense. I did it like this entirely so Jake could make that entrance.

I did want to give Jake's presence a really reassuring air. Like, as we can see being confronted like this is sort of overwhelming to the kids and they're clearly out of their element. Jake shows up and... I wanted to have it feel like even though we don't know what his plan is, you know things are going to be better because he's here.

Marvelous Man raises a good point; they WERE putting themselves in danger on a regular basis. And denying it in this circumstance and claiming "You have no proof" is a bit childish as opposed to admitting it. When everyone involved KNOWS you did something wrong, you should probably just admit it rather than point out that it can't be proven.

Jake to the rescue, and the kids aren't stupid MM they know perfectly well the danger involved in what they're doing.

Heh. Yeah, this is kinda more Jake's wheelhouse than the kids. ^^ Don't worry, he's got something for this.
