Okay, I have my first final this evening. By the time the next comic goes up on Saturday, they'll all be done with. Wish me luck, everybody. Rather nervous.

The excellent static effects on the third panel were all Martin's work. ^^ I'll leave it to him to explain how.

We get to see a few members of the school's faculty here, and I can gurantee the one on the right will likely be recurring. I like how worried she looks.

I get the feeling the kids learning about the super-villain attacks as they happen is gonna become something of a problem. News media convinently broadcasting on the story and the hero seeing it has been a long time device for such things (it's the reason Spider-Man works for the Daily Bugle), but there are only so many times they can coincidently see a news report on it on TV. Also, kids don't exactly watch the news that much, which is why the grown-ups are watching it in the Teacher's Lounge. You could try that "We interrupt this program" thing, but I watch cartoons all the time and they never pull that stuff.

Oh, hey, I forgot to comment on this one it turns out. Funny, that.

Not much to say, but should probably address the static - what I did there was I found a good shot of it and just filtered out the white part of it. The text wound up being a hassle, had to edit out it first and overly it, but wound up looking very nice.

it's not like they can just give out a bat singel either. could just have it where one of them has to stay tuned to the raido on a news channal for a set time a day, doing it in shifts. XP grant will problely do them all if you make it seem really batmanish

Or just take the Spider-Man 3 route of having them listen to police scanners all the time. But am I alone in thinking being a super-hero shouldn't be that boring?

Oh, don't worry. They've got a cool "TO ARMS" battle cry. ^^ You'll find out what it is in about a week.

..... Well, yeah. I kinda figured being a preteen meant the point before you were a teenager. Doesn't it?

Yeah, that's for kids over 8 and under 12.
