Heh. Yeah, this one's going to be fun.

We went through a lot of back and forth on what the cover could be for this one, before eventually settling on this visual of the kids staring down a bunch of looming opposition. Wound up with a mix of people we saw in the preview and people we didn't, which I think works pretty well to help build up hype. One of those will be familiar if you read Wright as Rayne, one of those if you followed Black Princess (though she will show up in WaR eventually) and one...

Bares noting there are a few costume tweaks going on with the kids on this cover - might notice Grant's belt is a different color as part of a general redesign of the costume coming off that one filler, lightened up Andy's a good bit since it was kind of distractingly dark, and Lore's cloak is now glittery. Hope everyone likes all those tweaks, pretty happy with the lot of them.

All I've really got, please be sure to swing by Wednesday when we officially begin!

Heh.... Yeah, think Lore's my favorite on those tweaks Martin mentioned. ^^

Yeah, was really conflicted on this cover, now looking at it again am wondering if we should've gone with something else.... Hm. Well, hindsight, eh? ^^ Do hope folks are decently enough hyped for another romp into the woods of mysticism and danger.

On major wonder I had with the kids on this cover was if they'd be in costume; we haven't seen them like this in-comic for a while, just on the covers. There's a reason for that, at least. Know when they'll all be in costume again instory. ^^

This is certainly an intriguing cover, this chapters going to be full of an increasing level of chaotic weirdness.
