Heheh... Yeah, weird one, this. Two major problems came with writing this one; firstly I had no idea how the BP girls and the Blues kids would actually react to each other, especially since their meeting is also happening with the pre-occupation of looking for the Fontianebleu spell and Jake and Vespi being there. You can realllly tell since they spend more of this page talking to each other than they do the kids.

Secondly, I'm kinda running out of different ways for people to react to the kids. This feels a bit too much like Qrime Qure for my liking, but I do like the idea of someone reacting with "Aww, that's so cute! I'll keep you safe!" It's kind of that right sort of insulting you can't be angry at.

I kinda wanted to emphasize that Sareena is the most into "traditional" super-hero-ism of the BP girls (and possibly the entire WaR cast). I was also trying to play up the ego aspect of the character; Sareena and Misty want to be legends, and their primary reason for seeking out the spell here is bragging rights. At the same time they're not the kind of people who would outright attack a bunch of children unless they threw the first punch.

Also, Sareena and Misty are like Alex in that they don't even question the Blues kids' existence; that's a pretty standard sequence of weirdness, and they've even gone on at least one mission with an eight-year-old accomplice. Ana, meanwhile, has the reaction a normal person would have.

Sareena's pose in that penultimate panel was taken from Prince Sidon from Zelda, by the way. Heh. Actually, come to think of it, she probably saw Misty playing it and thought, "Huh. That's an awesome pose."

Yeah, Adam kind of admitted having some uncertainty as to how to do this whole scene, but I feel like it works pretty well.

Not entirely sure how much I've got to say here personally. It is fun to see them bounce off each other though, and I do like Ana being in the, "Erm, wait, this is weird," camp on all this; in general Adam's said she's the BP girl he was most eager to do stuff with and I think it might of shows.

All I've really got, but hope everyone enjoys!

To be fair, safety in numbers. Plus face it, the kids are as likely to keep them safe as they are them. If not more so being the primary protagonists of this comic.

Actually the kids also have the element of surprise for being so ‘awww! So cute!’ Except Grant, who floats everywhere, and Val, who just constantly looks grumpy. So yeah, the child super heroes will be way more effective body guards. Except against Martina who already knows them. But she is a specific individual out of the likely dozens going after the spell.

Heheh... True, having people underestimate you is a pretty big help. Heck, I'm pretty sure Martina just sees them as annoying more than anything else, which is why she was so eager to let the matter with them drop.

It's kind of funny how the demon crossbreed has the most normal reaction to the kids, wonder what's going to happen when the cyborgs and the TM's minions show up.

Heheh... The TM. I like calling him that. ^^ Really eager for when they show up myself.
