Heh... Yeah, I kinda felt a massive weight off my shoulders once we got away from the 12-car-pile-up of cameos and got back to the kids traveling to a mystical location. I really just love how that one shot of Tortoise Island came out. I was a little disappointed by the shot of it in the first panel and wanted a chance to try that shot again only way better. Martin's gradients really make it sink into the page and feel three-dimensional. ^^

I should probably mention by now the idea of Tortoise Island came from Turtle Rock in Link To The Past. I remember reading the Nintendo Power comic as a kid and it felt like the dungeon was really built up as something big and mystical. It wasn't just ANY dungeon, it was where Zelda was being held. I dunno, haven't read that comic since I was like seven but remember it having a presence that I still sorta feel whenever I play the game. Helps that it was a fun and challenging dungeon in that game.

Heh. Now I wanna know what other game locations we can awkwardly work into the comic. .... HA! Holy crap, maybe the next crossover we'll have will be at the Glitz Pit!

Yeah, this one's pretty much a step away from the frenzy and to something more calm, pretty welcome on us given the past few pages have been pretty taxing. Enjoy the thrilling offscreen throw-down, guys! Yeah, don't worry, we'll get some more action in in a bit.

Not sure what else I've got but hopefully everybody enjoys. Funny thing is there is one more aspect I could comment on but it's kind of saved for some point down the line.

Out of one chaotic mess and straight into the eye of the storm, wonder what's going to happen next.
