Jeez, where do I start with this one. This was really just a transition panel with the end-goal being a shot of Rick but friggin' LOVE the end result. The streetlamp thing was just a random "why not" thing in drawing it; Marvelous Man hits the streetlamp and knocks it over, then just "Hey, let's do something cool with the lighting." Result was just great. ^^ That one panel went to being really amazing.

Rick, if you didn't know, is that guy doing the random fillers where he watches stuff and blogs about it. He previously showed up in WaR before coming here.... I LOVE that being the first time we see the character outside of Filler in Blues. ^_^ Just a great image.

Pavement is really taking a beating in this chapter, isn't it? I guess that's a standard for huge super-hero climaxes though, isn't it? Helps it's not as tedious to draw as you might think.

Yeah, this page is pretty much just an excuse to do this joke with Rick - something we've had in mind with this chapter for quite awhile now. Of course, we'll be hearing more detail about exactly what it is he's watching later...

Pretty happy with this page on the whole. Do always like getting to do stuff with the Grant being a terrible liar joke - don't think it's actually come up in the comic nearly as much as we use it in messing around between us but still - and think just get some good reactions in general between everyone.

Also I like Lore taking the opportunity to drop a random inappropriate Trixie reference. Something suitably cute and childish I think.

Hello Random Filler Guy! Who I shall unofficially name Guy for sake of convenience. I feel sorry for him, I mean really! He is just enjoying a classic film on presumably that classic movie projector partially off panel when a guy slams through his wall wrecking his poster for a movie from ages ago making it likely difficult to easily acquire.

Also, I like that evidently Lore is not stronger than MM (yet) if only perhaps due to proportions. But fact that she could STOP him, even off balance is amazing and does help to get a slightly clearer picture of her actual strength level compared to MM.

And lastly...I love how Grant is trying SO hard to deflect from the truth by distracting his dad with Nikki. And flat out denying he is dressed like a super hero when he can clearly see him. Unless he’s actually blind and just assuming based on context and his son’s voice or has really poor vision, pretty sure dad knows Grant. Might as well tell the truth, fight for justice, and PRAY you aren’t grounded for a million years.

So the currant villain crashes into the room of a future villain, wonder if Rick will mention MM when he blogs about what he's watching.
