One thing really throwing me off about this fight is how light-hearted it is. It's a huge climax to this story arc but there's still plenty of time for gags and jokes, very different from say, the Salix fight. I think because the kids have enough breathing room to banter and talk among themselves just leaves things feeling a lot more fun and relaxed. Especially since I keep thinking of ways for Andy to tell jokes.

Yeah, Rick was really just there for a cameo, but a fun cameo all the same. .... HA! I just realized he has the same color bathrobe as the Insomniac; that's funny. ^^

That said, one GIANT problem that I know isn't gonna get better any time soon is the framing of this fight. Simply put; Marvelous Man is so friggin' huge that it's hard to cram him into frame alongside the kids without zooming out so much you can barely see them (which, given the detail in their costumes, makes drawing them a massive pain). That's always a problem with the kids to some extent, but Marvelous Man's freakish height really makes it worse than ever.

You can see it in that last panel. Marvelous Man's supposed to be skidding a line in the pavement with his foot to show he's trying to split the kids in half and start picking them off, but it's hard to tell because the vertical space of the panel is so cramped. Guy's just too big for the comic.

Yeah, Rick's roll in this isn't exactly anything important, just a fun little excuse to have him pop up early and get a laugh out of things. Really very much looking forward to where things are overall going with him, hopefully people are going to love that. While yet before we get there though.

Admittedly not entirely sure what to say on this one right off. This was the first Blues page colored after a shift in the layering process we did recently with WaR (partially, had gotten started on this one first), but this one was drawn first. Not too sure if we're going to be doing it that way with the next page or not but either way it probably won't create that drastic of a visual difference right off.

You know, kind of occurs to me that the kids all have a different color scheme going on with their costumes at this point, besides Grant and Lore's looking very similar. Wonder if should've thought better of that but then, do like how all of these costumes look so I suppose it's not a big deal.

Man, I am just going off about all kinds of stuff not actually related to this page, aren't I? Happens I suppose.
