Heheh... Well, now folks know what Marvelous Man was agreeing to in that earlier panel. ^^ Hope that answers the mystery, had fun sorting this all out. And hope that the gag is funny enough that people aren't angry she's ending the page by arresting Jake.

Clearly there's more going on here we're not privvy to yet, but it seems a bit grim. Stay tuned on that.

Naturally had to sink in more that the kids have been officially exposed to the world and what that means. Like, they can't even say where they got their costumes since that'll expose that Spencer knew about them for a long while in advance.

Val's original line in panel 4 was "My world is crumbling around me" but it wasn't quite funny enough. Martin just casually made that observation while we were talking and we both thought it was funny enough to work into the comic.

So... This evening has on the whole gone well, huh?

Yeah, Valerie's line here originally was just going to be something I joked about in the comments, then when I brought it up to Adam he decided to work it into the page proper. I have rather liked her playing the straight man to all of this nonsense going on at the moment since she was out for a lot of it.

Bares nothing, the main reason the second panel's recycled there is just in the name of saving some time. Given work and Christmas this was a VERY last minute page and we needed to cut some corners on it. Also why I mostly just did the upper layers this time around and Adam did the bulk of the basic coloring, by the time he finished it I was exhausted.

Of course everyone's most interested in seeing where this Jake thing is going. And I'm over here hoping that people don't turn on Emma over it.

Okay what is Jake saying to Emma in panel four?

And I have a good fleeing that I am going to like Grant's dad.

I can’t make out the first part of the ‘whisper’. But the latter half literally seems to say “I’m guilty of child endangerment. If you want to atone for what you’ve done for Marvelous Man, you should place me under citizen’s arrest.” So Jake literally asked her to do that.

Here is what the FIRST half looks like it says “My name is ‘too blurry to read’. I molded this group of children into an ‘something I cannot make out’ fighting force.”

So yeah. Sorry for spoils! But I can’t help myself when faced with such!

Now for my actual thoughts on the page...yay! A win for those loveable dorks at C.A.N.D.L.E.! I know they are definitely not the best group, but so clearly outmatched by the world around them, they’re like an adorably yappy underdog! And at least you didn’t mention you’re not only gay but have a girlfriend on tv! Squeeeee! Still love how that’s canon!

And honestly I can’t be the only one thinking Grant’s father should be a bit less awe struck and a bit more forceful and angry, right? I mean that’s his son! Even if he is possibly of the same hero worshipping cloth as might be the case, I would think, or at least hope, that he is scared or furious out of concern for his son’s safety.

Thanks for the help Rastaba and your right about C.A.N.D.L.E. they are loveable dorks, I all so would like to see what they would do if they meat a group like themselves but not dumb.

And you are some what right about Grant, but I have a theory that Grant’s dad use to be a former superhero like Alex Rayne and that's why he is more awe struck then scared and angry.

But don't worry we still other kids parents to give there thoughts on this superhero thing there kids are doing.

Better to let Emma think she was responsible for MM's outburst when in reality he had no idea she was even there, so Jake went through with the put the blame entirely on himself plan, wonder what's going to happen next.
